A huge smile lit up his face. He had a second chance and he wasn't going to waste a single second. END VOLUME THREE

Kimberly POV The accursed alarm shrilled the next morning hindering the peace of the room and obstructing my solace. I thrashed on the bed, wishing I had the mind power to send it to Seoul. I shot up from the bed to locate the damned thing to do what I do every other morning I got it___Fling it! I saw it still vibrating almost at the end of the desk now, due to the robust vibration. “I wish you fall to hell idiot! Can you not choose a better time to chime!” I was vibrating in anger at the alarm in a way, if you actually think about it was very funny.

I sigh. He chuckles lightly and shakes his head. “I wasn’t always a good guy. Hell, for some time I was a terrible guy.” “What changed you?” I ask curiously. “Oh the usual, heartbreak and exile.” he smiles. I offer him a pity-filled look, and he shakes his head. “It was the best thing to happen to me. I met Adri, my second chance mate.” I look at him in confusion. “Second chance mate? What is that?” “It’s the opportunity to change. And there is no way in hell I’m squandering it,”

Brian’s feet. Yes, everyone deserves a second chance...

After attempting Alex's suggestion, the screen displayed 'Error 404: Password not found' once more. "I'll take a crack at it myself." I typed in 'Philip' followed by my birthday, fingers crossed for a breakthrough. Instead, the screen ominously dimmed, revealing a mocking message: 'Nice try! Is Philip your name? You might be the most stupid hacker ever! How about 'IHaveTheSmallestDickEver ThatSheCannotFeelMyWilly' next time? Just kidding, please don't!' accompanied by a cheeky tongue emoji. Then, the screen abruptly shut off, and the device powered down.

"You will come back for the gala now, won't you? At least for the evening, I understand you will probably have to leave the following day, but I do hope you come that evening Livvy. Under the Blue Moon you could find your second chance mate, if our Moon Goddess Selene is willing to grant such a beautiful opportunity to those that had lost their first." God, when she walked into that room, she took my breath away, and it took every power I had inside me to fight my wolves' need to claim her and my need to feel her in my arms.

Something deeper. Something bigger. The sky above cracks again. Not wide. Not open. But enough. A thin line. Silver. Alive. My breath catches. No. I was trying to close it. Not open it. He smiled and let me down. “Don't be like that.” I said, and held his head. “Let's go in.” I smiled naughtily.” “Just cause I want to be a good neighbor.” Chase said as he let go of me. He unlocked the gates with some control in his hand, it slid out of our way, and we both drove in. I breathed in deep and hard, reminding myself that we were going to make the second time around a success. Not everybody was fortunate enough to get two chances with the love of their life, and I was not going to butcher the second chance I got.

“I’m here to decide what I can live with.” Lady Serephine’s hand slid from her belly to the edge of her gown, fingers smoothing fabric as if Elowen’s words were merely noise. “Decide,” she echoed softly. “But remember, Lady Elowen. Second wives don’t get to rewrite the story. They only get to accept the ending.”
