The Forgotten King

The Forgotten King

Yet, I'm starting to accept it. "Well, since you've been gone so long, the kingdom was starting to lose hope. Without a true king or queen, there was unrest. So we decided it would be for the best if we took the thrown." Dixie explained. Fiddling with Levin's fingers. Nervous about what we're gonna say.

Ryder; Lord of Astaroth

Ryder; Lord of Astaroth

Several kingdoms existed, kingdoms spread out far and wide, and having borders that greatly separated them from one another, far into the east and even into the north, where the cold that ravaged there froze life, but still people thrived in these kingdoms. Many a time, these kingdoms were ravaged, if not by the cold then by the plague, by famine, by war, or by some sort of curse, and many a time some kingdoms crumbled under these; lost and forgotten, and buried under the black sooth of burning flesh and the witches’ cry, and they all did perish, save for seven. The seven kingdoms of the east and of the south. This is not just a tale of one kingdom, and neither is this a tale of just one man

So, I shared the visions of war, the warning about the gate. Caleb listened without interrupting, but the further I spoke, the darker his expression became. "A gate buried beneath the kingdom," he repeated slowly. "Apparently, the Forgotten is searching for it." I stated. His jaw tightened as he said, "There are old stories about sealed ruins beneath the northern territories." That sounded deeply terrible. "Can we not live in a world with normal problems?" I muttered. Caleb’s thumb remained beneath my eye for a second longer than necessary.

Then another from the west. Then another from the south. My blood froze. Not one army. Multiple armies. Buried beneath the entire kingdom. Awakening together. The ground erupted. Miles away, entire hills collapsed inward. Ancient stone structures emerged from beneath the earth. Fortresses. Gigantic fortresses. Older than recorded history. Hidden beneath the world for ages. Now rising once more. And atop each fortress stood a figure. Thirteen silhouettes. Watching. Waiting. The Thirteen Kings.

The Forgotten - Book One of the Chronicles of Faynon

The Forgotten - Book One of the Chronicles of Faynon

“Institutionalised, would be the closest word I can think of. They don’t react well to sudden changes anymore and refuse to visit other strongholds. While they still fight well, they may not adjust as easily as we might have hoped once we succeed retaking the throne.” Draynon nodded. “That is a concern and something I have seen a time or two myself. The sooner we retake the throne the better for all of us. Keep me informed.” He paused. “To tell the truth, I think Princess Astrid summed up this briefing quite well. I have also contacted the other strongholds and we are to expect one knight from each order as this situation concerns all of our four main regions. There is Sir Kenward,

The Forgotten Daughter

The Forgotten Daughter

I half shout, shocked at what I'm hearing How was Rory going to react to all of this? He'd hidden so much from her already but this, this was definitely crossing a line. "It is possible, yes." He says, his worried expression no doubt mirroring my own "And what about this other witch? Do you know her?" "Him" he says taking a small mouthful of his drink. "Remi, he's a week older than Aurora. Somehow he inherited the genes from a great great grandfather. His powers were supposedly locked away by the witch of the great council when he was born" he informs me as he stands to get another drink

The howling alpha and the forest of deception

The howling alpha and the forest of deception

The trees were disappearing. "Run", shouted Mick, leading them all out of the forest. Zane gripped the sword tightly and ran out. The trees were falling down. Soon, they were out of the forest. All the trees had disappeared, no creatures were visible. The land was barren, but then, the air shifted and another kingdom was slowly becoming visible. "The rift is breaking", whispered Laurel. "The kingdoms are coming together." The six kingdoms Earth, Erstonia, Byrandan, Pamlivam, Craburn, Icosall, all of them were slowly becoming visible. The ruler of every kingdom was on their toes. They were dying to see who had broken the rift, who had United the kingdoms.

I took whiff and finally a sip of the hot drink. “He’s down. Unicorn in hand. Though, I question the unicorn itself and why his name is Fitz.” Zach walked in and sat down on the other stool. I moved the second mug toward him. “For one, it’s Fitzgerald. One of the characters in his book who happens to be a knight. Very important character in this house.” I pulled out my phone and scrolled through a folder until I found the photo I was looking for. Handing my phone to Zach, he looked at the photo and his head cocked to the side.

Well how do I start this, but you have to read it but warning!!! Bring a lot of tissues, you will need them. Wonderful writing, in love with both leads character and their friends. Beautiful story line, not too short or long, cry, sad, pain, laugh and love. Worth reading & spending. Highly recommend

I really loved this book—the characters, their development, and the supportive circle of friends and family. If you’re tired of clichéd CEO books where the main conflict revolves around a bitchy ex and annoying misunderstandings, and you’re looking for something meaningful, this is your book!

Erica said and Clio nodded, “Yes, there are seven kingdoms like the ‘Kingdom of Heaven’,” Erica looked at Clio in shock, “Kingdom of Heaven? Is this place called Kingdom of Heaven?” she asked and Clio nodded. “Of course, there are Kingdom of Mountains, Night, Snow, Fire, Ocean, Heaven, and Underground” Clio said and Erica nodded with an impressed look on her face.

Frequently Asked Questions

Kingdom of the Forgotten' is actually a series, and a pretty gripping one at that! I stumbled upon it while browsing for fantasy reads, and the way it weaves together lost histories and mythical creatures hooked me from the first book. The author expands the world with each installment, adding layers to the lore that make it feel alive. It’s not just about kingdoms and battles—there’s this melancholy thread about memory and legacy that lingers long after you finish reading.

What I love is how the series balances standalone arcs with overarching mysteries. You could enjoy one book on its own, but diving into the whole saga reveals hidden connections and Easter eggs. The second book, especially, delves into a ruined city’s secrets in a way that reminded me of 'The Name of the Wind', but with its own unique flavor. If you’re into epic tales that reward patience, this is worth your time.
