I've fucked women who begged for mercy and made them beg for more pain instead. My empire runs on blood, loyalty, and fear. That's the only language this rotten world understands. And tonight, I reminded everyone of it. Crawford thought he could play me. Thought he could borrow money from my syndicate, promise returns, and then ghost like I'm some dumb fuck banker. “I’m doing this because if I don’t, we both die. And trust me—my death would be the least of this world’s problems.” She stared at the throne. At the burning seal behind it. And her reflection in the polished floor—no longer fully human. Something inside her shifted again. A memory, maybe. Or a piece of her soul waking up after a long, long sleep. “You lied to me,” she said quietly. “But so did everyone else. So maybe... you’re just the first devil who had the guts to tell me the truth.” Dante smiled, not with victory, but with respect. “Good girl.”

He leans in closer, his hot breath fanning my face as he looked down at me. "I think you are mistaken about something, little one. You belong to me. You were mine from the moment you clung to me desperately begging for help. But you weren't saved by some hero, a knight in shining armor who would do your bidding and just accept it when you tell him no. No darling, I'm the devil and you are mine.” With this his lips crashed down against mine.

She responded with a low moan, her nails digging into my skin as she pressed herself closer, her every move telling me that she didn’t want to stop either. The world outside didn’t exist anymore. There was no mission, no looming danger—only the heat between us, threatening to consume us both. And maybe that was the most dangerous thing of all. AQSA The room was dim, the only light coming from the city skyline beyond the window. The chaos outside felt like a distant hum, a reminder of the destruction waiting to swallow us whole.

he jabbed a finger toward the book without looking at it—“simply implies the era of then, not now!” I exhaled slowly, fighting back the urge to scream with him. “It wouldn’t be called the Book of Forgotten Truth if there wasn’t some weight to its words, Devon. Think. Have you ever heard of a wolf outside of you mating with a woman—a human—and conceiving with her? Have you?” At the word conceived, his pacing faltered. Devon froze, his broad back stiff, his head lowering slightly. When he finally turned to look at me, his eyes were darker, unreadable.

Elias smiled. "We don't take the boy. We make the world so dangerous, he comes to us." He turned to the wall. "Activate every sleeper. Every asset. The world goes black.
