“You forgot something, Victor. The remote only works if the liquid’s in the system. And I’m not giving it to you.” Victor’s face went red. “Then I’ll kill you and take it!” he howled. He ordered the pilot to move. The chopper tilted. Its blades sliced low, wind slamming June to her knees. Suddenly, a man clawed his way up from the snow. Dante. He was battered and bleeding, clutching a flare gun. “Hey, Victor!” Dante shouted. He fired. The flare slammed into the helicopter’s fuel tank. Boom. The world went orange. The explosion knocked everyone flat. Wreckage tumbled into the clouds below.

Tyr remained silent for a moment before murmuring, “Are ghosts and evil spirits real in this world?” While Tyr was in doubt, he noticed dark clouds suddenly appearing over God Valley. Following that, an enormous devilish face appeared in the sky. It was so large that it obscured both the sky and the sun. The devilish face squashed down from the air as if the hideous devil was about to swallow the entire God Valley. Just then, Tyr noticed a massive talisman emerge from Jim’s side, fly up into the air, and land squarely on the devilish face. Purple flames erupted in the sky while miserable screams reverberated across the island.

He wasted no time in expressing his fury, his voice a thunderous growl. "Do any of you have any idea what you've brought upon us? Do you have any idea how much business alliances and trusted allies you al have cost me?" The room was paralyzed by his wrath, and none of us dared to meet his eyes. The others dove. She tore through the ramp just as Lucian emerged from another flight—bloodied, but alive. He leapt across the last step and dove into the passenger seat, dragging a second pistol from his coat. “Nice work,” he breathed. “Go left!” She took the wheel with both hands. “You're bleeding.” “I’m alive. Keep driving!” They rocketed out the garage and back into open city streets. Lights blurred. Sirens in the distance, but nothing trailing them yet.

And the cars peeled away, tires screeching as they disappeared down the street. Vito stayed at the window, watching them go, his gun still raised. That's when he saw it. On the back of one of the cars… a small yellow design. A symbol he recognized immediately. His blood went cold. "Matteo's clan," he said quietly. Bernard moved beside him, looking out the window. "It's the Yellow. Do you think you were followed?" Vito raised an eyebrow at him, giving him a look that said ‘that's a stupid question.’

She didn’t see the face of the biker, but from the sound of his voice, she could tell who it was. It was a voice she would recognize anytime, any day. The voice of the devil who haunts her in her dream. A pat on the shoulder brought her back to reality. She jerked and the flower slipped from her hands, but Wendy caught it before it could fall to the floor.
