”Nice flowers.” Wendy commended as soon as Rebecca entered the room. Rebecca on the other hand didn’t pay attention to what was said. She was lost in a world of her own thought. She didn’t see the face of the biker, but from the sound of his voice, she could tell who it was. It was a voice she would recognize anytime, any day. The voice of the devil who haunts her in her dream. A pat on the shoulder brought her back to reality. She jerked and the flower slipped from her hands, but Wendy caught it before it could fall to the floor.

And that voice alone was enough to send an unfathomable shiver down my spine. “Welcome to my place, dear ones. I hope you enjoy your stay here.” Almirah screamed when a devil suddenly showed up in front of us. He was crowned with a raging fire on his head seemingly served as his hair. His teeth and lips were black and he was a holding a cigarette on his right hand. “Chill! I am not going to eat unless you angered me.” His voice is filled with extreme horror and as he said those words, the fire on his head abruptly became violent. He laughed after releasing smoke from his mouth.

I whisper in fear. Tsking, and biting his lip, he shakes his head. “Oh, no. Don’t think of it like that,” he says sweetly, his nefarious smile shifting to sweet and beautiful. “I’m just a fragment of dust of what you may term as the devil. So small and useless until I’m given instructions by my boss. In this case, Mr. Memphis, otherwise known as Devlin, and the water of power he pours to me in form of instructions, stirs my little particles into a pile of mud and I get my power from him. But for now, I’m nothing more than a human just like you and everyone else in your little world.”

How tall is this devil? “Galileo, put her in a room on you guys’ floor,” the devil instructed. “Si, boss.”(Yes). He took a step towards the elevators before he paused and partially turned. “We still leave at dawn,” he informed. “Should I book Flora’s ride for the same time?” Galileo inquired. “Does she bribe you or something?” From where I stood, I saw his eyes flash with anger. “Sorry, boss. I just assumed…since you’ve not been seeing others aside her lately…”

A face he was proud of. The gut-wrenching bellow of mighty king rang in the grieving silence. The blisters of fire attacked his rosy flesh and swallowed the skin as if some molten lava. He cried out for help to save him from this excruciating torment as his eyes burned. A sizzling sound was earned when the coal in fire torch started their magic on his scalp. His crown failed to fight the monstrous phenomenon. Valentina spat on his suffering form and rushed past him to escape the burning fortress, but before she could have crossed the same hallway, a dart was shot right in her spine. It was one of the scary guards holding the vengeance in his veins. The loyal hound wanted nothing but crush he

"How disgusting. Get rid of them now." In the end, the car pulled into the most expensive neighborhood in the city. The owner of the underground fighting ring where I had spent five years licking shoes bowed in front of Rebecca, smiling. "Don't worry, Miss. Those two old husks have already been thrown into the volcano. Not even ashes are left. I guarantee nothing will be traced back to Mason." I turned and tried to run outside, but Rebecca grabbed me. "They've already been burned to ashes. What else do you want? Are you trying to disgust Mason on purpose?"

Thorne waved a hand dismissively as if the answer to the question Julian posed wasn't important, "what did your attacker look like." "We didn't see anything but we were attacked by fire," I responded pointedly. "And ice," came Julian's soft murmur. Thore opened his hand, an orange flame illuminating his palm, "I harness Hellfire. No matter how fast you think you are, the moment you touch it you will burn to ash. Hellfire is the strongest type of fire so it's the only defense a Hellhound needs. No Hellhounds I know can harness water." "I don't trust you."

Yet here it was, melted to the ground. I stooped down to touch the wet ash under my boots, brushing my wet hair back. Rubbing the ash between my thumbs, I shook my head. Regular fire did not do this. This was the work of something else. Devil's Fire. A sacred fire that burned from within, and never showed its flames until it was too late.
