Born to Rule: The Dragon Queen

Born to Rule: The Dragon Queen

“That’s Tzarkiuos poison.” I blinked in disbelief. “What? That smells like regular wine to me.” Diana didn’t wait for my doubt. She poured the wine into a flowerpot near my plate. The crimson liquid sank into the soil. Seconds later, the blooming red flower withered, turned black, and crumbled into ash. Gasps rang out across the table. “Black magic,” Diana hissed. My stomach twisted. The name left my lips like a curse. “Liora.” Diana’s POV

The spoiled protégée of the ruthless CEO

The spoiled protégée of the ruthless CEO

- Yes. Flora was shocked, trading weapons for her seemed the worst of evils. She remembered the weapon dealers that visited her father from time to time. They were nasty, gross, and immoral. They knew they were selling their merchandise to get innocent people killed by it. They were no better than the Mafia itself. And Claude is one of them?!

Fire Wolf - Alphas' King

Fire Wolf - Alphas' King

He held the power to bring a smile to my face when I was going through unbearable pain. It glowed lighter. revealing a pair of eyes, it was also a part of a burning fire. My lower lip trembles from all the emotions consuming me, he was here he was holding me. I couldn't speak and just stared at him. A black wing sparking with an amber glow rested on my forehead and a bright red flower landed on my chest, cracking sparkles around it. I had read about it in the Herbology book. FlammaFlos! It's a powerful plant and the Queen of Faerie guards them. I saw Cassandra but her sight wasn't clear. It's given for a new life.

HIS BIGGEST MISTAKE

HIS BIGGEST MISTAKE

KAI POV I watched Dante Corvus bring Elara flowers three days in a row and it took everything I had not to shift and rip his throat out. Day one was roses. Day two was some exotic orchid that probably cost more than my car. Day three was a whole arrangement of moonflowers that glowed in the dark because apparently regular flowers weren't impressive enough.

Bloody Rose

Bloody Rose

The color made her dizzy, she knew her brother had weird tastes years ago but she honestly thought he would grow out of it. Right next to the foot mat was a vase with what looked like cactus or aloe Vera plant growing inside of it. Rain stared oddly at the strange plant before squatting down and moving the plant to the side a bit and as her brother has said over the phone, there was a key beneath the vase. Once she was inside the house, she didn’t bother to look around. She was too tired to observe the interior of her brother’s apartment, she already had a vague idea of what it would look like judging by the foot mat that was outside the door which she didn’t really see the use of.

really good story. enjoyed reading it, but with all the type-o's it was hard to follow at times. I don't understand why this story is more couns per chapter to read than the ones with far less type-o's
Rose Rehbein
It's an interesting story with sadness, love, intrigue, and ruthless business. Just when you think the storyline was dropped, it continued. Be sure to pay attention to the finest cues because they become important.

His Forbidden Flower

His Forbidden Flower

Her cries turned hysterical as she knew it was her end now. Exhaling a loud sigh, Adrian glared at Austin's wounded figure and then turned to face Claire, who immediately froze on the spot. "I think I had myself clear to you, Cherry." *****

The Flames of The Phoenix

The Flames of The Phoenix

When they were almost to the pack house, I used my Green Flames to control the earth to stop them. A Phoenix is born with a specific fire, The Red Flame is the most common The Orange Flame is for healing The Purple Flame is for turning back and accelerating time for a living being The Pink Flame is for telepathy, empathy, and telekinesis Finally, the Blue Flame, is the most lethal, it is as cold as ice but burns like fire. Each flame could burn, but not at the same intensity depending on which flame it is, each having its specific properties. I was born with what we call the Rainbow Flames, it is a Flame created from each of the Flames, I can use them individually or simultaneously. It was h

Auctioned Mates Revenge

Auctioned Mates Revenge

“No. It moved too quickly. Would have been good though. White blooms were on sale, though. They should be arriving next week.” A few other men joined the little circle, casting lecherous and curious looks at me. “Don’t mind her,” Mordecai said, “I’m just keeping an eye on little Matt’s plaything. Any other news?” “Devereaux Botanicals got the last bit of dark bloom roses and hemp that was on the market,” one of them said with a snarl. “That son of a bitch, Felix swooped in like he knew when it would go on sale. I guess those Warhammer contacts are treating him well.”

Gabbalaba
Thoughtful, action packed, and dripping with feminist enabling leads. Totally unexpected side-characters also step into the light. Ending felt rushed, and change of POV felt like a first-person restriction. Pre-climax was confusing with too many planning details. I loved the women as allies theme.
Vroom Vroom
Great story. There are some heavy chapters to get through so if rape, sex trafficking or abuse are triggers for you then skip this book!!! If they aren't triggers for you then I highly recommend this book. I agree with other comments that the incomplete sentences were annoying.

The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection

The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection

"Uh, I need to use the restroom." Seeing Felix continue to eat without acknowledging her, Dora grew frustrated. She leaned in, emphasizing her assets. "Hey, can't you at least look at me?" Yet, he still did not respond. Dora decided to drop the bombshell she had been saving for tomorrow's meeting. She whispered, "I have information about a herb called Veilflower." That did the trick. Felix immediately wiped his mouth and looked at her. "You serious?" Dora was annoyed by his previous indifference. Sure, she was not the prettiest, but she had a killer body.
