The color made her dizzy, she knew her brother had weird tastes years ago but she honestly thought he would grow out of it. Right next to the foot mat was a vase with what looked like cactus or aloe Vera plant growing inside of it. Rain stared oddly at the strange plant before squatting down and moving the plant to the side a bit and as her brother has said over the phone, there was a key beneath the vase. Once she was inside the house, she didn’t bother to look around. She was too tired to observe the interior of her brother’s apartment, she already had a vague idea of what it would look like judging by the foot mat that was outside the door which she didn’t really see the use of.

KAI POV I watched Dante Corvus bring Elara flowers three days in a row and it took everything I had not to shift and rip his throat out. Day one was roses.
