“Don’t die,” Dante rasped, golden eyes locked on his.
Their chests brushed. Their wolves surged, snarling not with rage but with hunger.
Aiden shoved him back just as another rogue crashed down on them.
The fight stretched savagely and endlessly. Finally, the last rogue fell, chest heaving, blood pooling beneath him. Silence crashed heavily, broken only by the sound of their breaths.
