I don’t know what will happen to me and my family now.” A woman said to the reporter while she’s sobbing from tears.

I can't lose my job, especially since Papa is in the hospital, we only have a little money saved, it's not enough. “Oh my gosh, Miss! I'm sorry. Something happened to Papa, that's why I just woke up, help me, Miss, so I won't get fired by the boss later. Please. I'm on my way, I promise.” I said and hurriedly went to the bathroom to take a bath and leave for the company.

My days were centered on my children, job, and friends. I locked my bedroom door and removed my uniform, placing it in the laundry basket next to the one I had dirtied earlier in my shift, along with the g-string I'd been wearing. Amber’s POV The first day at work felt heavier than I expected. My outfit, the only decent clothes that seemed harmless at least to me, didn't sit well with some people. Not that I cared, I just wanted to make a good impression with the people I would be working with but the whispers started the moment I stepped into the office. “They’re really letting anyone in these days,” one woman said with disgust shown all over her face. “Did she even try? That outfit, really?” another sneered.

The next day, I wore my uniform to work. Everything went smoothly; I clocked in, arranged my station, and attended to customers. I thought I would finish my workday without any issues. But I was wrong. "Mathia, you're being called to the office," one of my coworkers said. I felt a sense of anxiety, and it seemed like some of my colleagues who were also called felt the same way. We went inside and sat on the monoblock chairs. We looked at each other, wondering if this was our last day, but we weren't sure.

A chuckle escaped her lips, “ says the man whose whole life revolves around his job.” She was right, though. Everything I did revolved around my job, including her.
