Darian flicked open the first page of the diary and smiled, fixating his eyes on the words she inscribed on the note. "Dear Darian." He started. Hello!

It wasn’t long, she heard the sound of a car starting and then it was gone, meaning she was alone in the house. She searched around with her eyes, there was nothing in the room, absolutely nothing that one can use as a weapon, the man was being careful as hell, she wondered what his name was, he probably would be answering a name that match his reputation, just like El Diablo. If he is answering that and from his tone of Spanish, she guessed he must be from Colombia, he didn’t really look like them but his Spanish can’t be something he learnt, it must be his mother’s tongue.

I stepped past him, my leg brushing up against his side as I went back to the bed. I grabbed the journal, pen, and paper, then opened the book up to the last page that had been filled out, rather than the first one I’d opened a few minutes earlier. Dear Diary Day 1 Today is officially my first day here after a rough start yesterday. I decided that if I was going to get the best of this world, I might as well have a do over. Alot of strange things and occurrence have happened since I woke up yesterday but the best and most surprising of them all was the fact that Danny was alive and right in front of me.
