I wanted more. At three-thirty on a Wednesday morning, I sat at my kitchen table and picked up the pen and pad of paper with shaking hands. Images of my dreams flashed through my mind. Even though I sat alone in my kitchen, my cheeks flushed with embarranusment. A good woman didn’t have thoughts like this. A good woman didn’t sit at her kitchen table, thinking about what kinds of crazy sex she secretly dreamed of having with people she didn’t even know. What the hell is the matter with me? I thought. I’m just writing down thoughts. I don’t even have to show them to anyone. I can have fantasies. I can write them down.

I was always so careful with it, tucking it away like as soon as people were around me but now it was gone, and the thought made my gut churn. That journal wasn't some boring notebook for class notes. No, it was full of my deepest, dirtiest thoughts and fantasies about my professors that I'd scribbled down in the dead of night or even whenever I even wanted to while my body heated up just imagining them. As I glanced down at the diary once more, I pondered the extent of this stupid mess. I just have to do something real quick

"No. We should apologize instead." We held each other and broke down in tears. Leonard was still in a critical stage. Meanwhile, the content of his diary was published on the Internet. The diary recorded every moment we had spent together. I sat on the bench outside the ICU, and my phone kept vibrating. "Liv, have you seen the news? Leonard's diary has gone viral on the Internet!" "Oh my God! You guys had such great memories together!" "He loves you so much…" I tapped on my phone. The topic at the top of the trending list read, "high school memories of Leonard Burton."

After hesitating for a while, he flipped open the diary to take a peek. It was a typical diary with many scribbles and writings. Gently flipping through the pages, he read the first few lines on the first page of the diary. 12-10-2020 So the doctor asked me to try to keep a journal and write down my personal feelings. Don’t know how that’s going to help but here goes nothing. Getting confused, Alex flipped through the pages, skimming through similar scribbles of how his day went and how his life was going in general. One thing was constant through the pages and it was how he kept on mentioning Alex.
