Josh’s eyes, his expression, even his tone, all changed. I could see the real him now, the villain, not the gentleman he pretended to be.
“What happened, Josh? Why aren’t you pretending to be a gentleman anymore? Did you think it wouldn’t work? You were acting so well, you’d deserve an Oscar for it.” I grinned.
