The noise was far worse than anything DiStefano’s puppets had produced—more primal than a Foley artist’s wet dream. It mingled with the crunching of bones and the sloshing of innards.

One big black toad was rumbling its throat fiercely before sticking its tongue out to a smaller mud slime in front of it. “GROAKKK!!” the sound erupted from its throat before its tongue latched onto the slime. The slime has no voice to sound as it was just made from water, so the only sound it could emit is ‘blob’ when it was hauled and swallowed by the giant toad.
