I couldn't help but smile when I see her interest in our ancestors history, I decided to let my presence known but stopped when I saw Diego creeping in from the other corner. What I saw made my blood boil. The grace and courage with which Daisy handled the whole situation made me realize that she is not a normal woman. Dillion kicked his feet up on the seat in front of him and Jensen threw a pillow at him from the couch. “Don’t get too use to it this is a one-time thing. For now.” Jensen smiled at me as an attractive brunette approached us. “Mr. Daniels we will be taken off in a few minutes. Can I get you anything?” She smiled at him and touched his arm lightly. I have never been a jealous woman, but seeing her touch him sent me into a rage.

Right now, she needed to focus on her and Ray. She wanted to look nice for Ray, so she went into her closet and picked out one of her favorite dresses. It was a backless halter dress in the color emerald green that came to just below her knees. She picked out a pair of black strapless sandals. She didn’t need any fancy footwear. The ceremony would be held at the pack field and she wouldn’t actually need shoes. She wouldn’t need clothes either, but she had no intention of showing up in front of Ray’s pack naked. She’d keep her clothes on in public until absolutely necessary, thank you very much.

Just us girls, and we are supposed to be having the time of our lives. I brush the feeling aside as we get up to leave. The lights and the live music keeps the city alive, like it never sleeps. As we walk down the street, you see multiple different museums such as Johnny Cash’s, the ‘Original Man in Black’, and my daddy’s favorite Country singer. The shops are pretty amazing too, with books, boots, cowboy hats galore, I giggle at the thought of buying a black cowboy hat for my father. He’d think he WAS Johnny Cash.

I grin, feeling super good about my small achievement. “Awesome. Are you working tonight?” “Yep, Dax asked if I could sing a few songs.” “Excellent. I was hoping Modus Grace was playing tonight” She laughs again, her face turning pink, “So what’s going on between you and Dax?” I roll my eyes, “Nothing. I think Dax has the hots for Sally.” “The dog walker?” She asks incredulously “She’s not just a dog walker.” I say, annoyed, “She’s also a trainer and carer. She helped with certifying Benny.”

The light he always sees in her eyes is absent in the woman standing in front of him. This woman's eyes are vacant and resigned. "Lady Tina," Darius said. Lady Tina changed her form to her former self. "Wow," Max murmured. "See, problem solved," Lady Tina said with a smirk. Everyone chuckled. But looked at Lady Tina with a strange look. "Do you realize that you might get killed?" Darius pointed out. As soon as David finds out that she is not Thea but his wife Tina, his ego will be bruised. He might get into a mad rage, just like the moment he acted out by pushing Max down the cliff.

Opening the door, Christiana stood in front of her. "I forgot my handbag and umbrella at your house." "So sorry for the inconvenience." Her voice was laced with remorse. Staring at her, Daisy Hunter said," What, No, it's really okay…I too forget my stuff in people's homes." Daisy Hunter said, smiling gleefully, exposing her perfect dentition. Stepping into the dimly lit room, Christiana spotted her handbag and umbrella, grabbing it, she thanked Daisy and stepped out immediately.

Before I gather my thoughts, the door opens and the elderly woman standing in the harsh light of the hallway greets me. “Hello Hannah.” She says. “Dana.” I say venomously before I ask, “Why am I here?” “Darling,” she starts but I interrupt her. “Don’t you dare, you’re not fooling me with your concerned granny bullshit.” I snap, “You know I feel your emotions, you know I am aware of the disgust radiating from you when you look at me” I pause as I move closer and lean down to look in her eyes “or do I need to remind you?” I whisper just loud enough for her to hear.
