Dino Tmnt Novels & Stories

Dino put his hand on his chin and imagined an unrealistic thought, "Then if I debuted as an actor, I should have my stage name. What stage name can I use? I wanted a cool one. Hmmmmm?" He walked around in circle while thinking. "Ahh!" Right when he stopped, an idea popped out. "What about Dino Smith? Or Dino Bond? Dino Pitt? Dino Jolie? Dinao Ming Zi?" Tilting his head, because he found all of those names familiar to his ears, another idea came. "Ahh! What if I make a name similar to superheroes?! Like spiderman, I'll have Dinoman." Soon, his smile evaporated.

While Damon plated the warm, delicious dinner I had prepared earlier—juicy herb-roasted chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, and roasted carrots—Jim practically vibrated with excitement, his hands waving in the air as he started narrating his afternoon. "Well, first we went inside the big museum!" Jim began, his eyes wide and shining with wonder as he kicked his legs back and forth against the stool. "And there was a giant skeleton hanging right from the ceiling! It was a T-Rex, Daddy! A huge one! It had big teeth like this— rawr!" Jim threw his hands up like claws, making a fierce growling face that made both Damon and me laugh out loud. "Is that right?" Damon smiled, sliding a plate filled wit

Neither making any sense. I watched them. It was impossible not to. They were complete opposites. Yet somehow inseparable. "Daddy," Diana announced proudly. "Damien drew a dinosaur with six heads yesterday." Damien nodded. "It was awesome." "I'm sure it was." "It ate three cities." "Only three?" I asked. Damien looked impressed. "You understand dinosaurs." "I understand destruction." The boy laughed. Then Diana grabbed his hand. "Come sit." Before Damien could answer, another familiar voice interrupted.

"Told you I would." He scrambled to his feet, running over to grab my hand. "Come see! I set up the whole habitat. The T-Rex is the king, and the velociraptors are his army, and the triceratops are trying to fight back, but they're losing because T-Rex is the strongest." I let him pull me toward his dinosaur battlefield, crouching down to examine his setup. "Looks like you've thought this through." "Yeah! And when the pteranodon flies over, everything stops because they're all scared of him even though he's not technically a dinosaur."

Behind them, Colt was crying. "Emory? Emory, wake up. It's me, Colt. I brought Rex. He wanted to see you." He held up his T-Rex, his small face streaked with tears. "Emory? Why won't she answer me? Auntie Imogen, why won't she wake up?" Imogen knelt beside him, her own eyes wet. "She's sleeping, sweetheart. The doctors gave her medicine to help her sleep so her body can heal." "But I want her to wake up. I want to talk to her. I want to tell her about the new dinosaur I learned about. It's called a Therizinosaurus. It has the longest claws of any dinosaur. I wanted to show her a picture."

“Oh my God.” The largest dinosaur drawing wasn't positioned near the largest building. It pointed toward the oldest building. The Valtieri’s original manor. "You weren't drawing dinosaurs." She whispered out loud as her heartbeat quickened. "You were naming guardians." She quickly wrote on another sheet. Tyrannosaurus. Predator. Power. Triceratops. Protection. Defense. Stegosaurus. Back armor. Shield. Every dinosaur represented a function, not an animal and Althea’s breathing became shallower.
