He spent most of the afternoon explaining dinosaurs to me.” Leo nodded proudly. “He didn’t know the difference between a T. rex and a Velociraptor.” Ken shrugged. “In my defense, one is just a slightly smaller dinosaur.” Leo gasped in dramatic horror. “That’s not how dinosaurs work!” I shook my head, smiling as I slipped off my shoes. How does the pauper become a prince? What about you?” the man asked. “Fiction or non-fiction?” “Fiction. I am a sucker for a good romance. And Dr. Seuss, of course, but that’s more on a professional level.”

Teddy and I look at each other. “Grab Volume one, the Dragon Tale,” Teddy huffs. “Why do I feel like this is about to be ridiculous?” “Because it most likely is,” I say, opening the Sliver colored book. Dragons are among the first animals created at the beginning of time. These dragons died if killed and only lived 200 to 300 years. They would have been the only dragons in existence, if not for the selfishness of a goddess.
