Zaine, George, Luca, Abernathy and Torrin are marginally less taken aback by what I have to say, but still, it’s a lot to take in. By the time I have finished explaining how Sophia’s wolf is actually Alcmene, the mother of Heracles, who was conceived when Zeus came to her bed disguised as her husband, and that Zaine’s wolf is Alcmene’s husband, Amphitryon, there are a lot of puzzled faces in the room.

His instructions must be carried out to the tiniest detail, or else he gets rid of you and makes another wolf, just like you. His name is Dymion the Second, and he is the first son of Endymion and Selene, the moon God and moon goddess. Endymion, in Greek mythology a beautiful youth who spent much of his life in perpetual sleep. Endymion’s parentage varies among the different ancient references and stories, but several traditions say that he was originally the king of Elis. According to one tradition, Zeus offered him anything that he might desire, and Endymion chose an everlasting sleep in which he might remain youthful forever. According to another version of the myth, Endymion’s eternal sl

He looked like he was having a hard time reminiscing about its history. Aphrodite came to the rescue, "Right! Most of us have been friends since then. We grew up in slums, doing different jobs in order to survive and fulfill the needs of our rumbling stomachs. Me, being the face of cybersex, Dionysus... who used to rob the general's main house, Hermes and Ares as the known thieves in town, and then there's Zeus who abducted people for ransom... Athena who was once a stripper, Apollo as a drug addict..." My widening eyes went to Apollo. He smiled as he waved at me. "And Poseidon... the sex slave." What...

he drawled calmly. "That was Poseidon, god of the seas. Everyone knows that he is a jolly good fellow, always partying and dining but is very greedy with his treasures. But Hades, is sensitive, depressed, and irritable. Very short-tempered and quick to lash out," she countered. "There were other gods besides Poseidon," he said frowning at her obvious neglect of his accomplishments. "Yes, I know, there was Aeolus, god of the wind. Demeter, goddess of the harvest and seasons. Apollos, god of light, prophecy, healing, and plague," she listed them out.

He shook his head as if to try to physically knock the unwelcome thoughts out of his brain. Gathering his emotions more tightly under control, he squared his shoulders and stood tall, pointing an accusing finger at the dark-haired witch. "You will not destroy me! I am Brandur of Clan Sköll, known as The Destroyer for a reason!" The woman sighed heavily, and he thought he saw her roll her eyes. "Freya help me," Astrid murmured, raising her hands in a supplicating gesture toward the skies. "Once again, Brandur of Clan Sköll, I am not here to harm you. You are far too important for that."

(Thats enough she belongs to Leonardo now and is not to be touched, this is unless you want to explain to the don that you ruined his birthday gift) the other man said. The man hand trembles as he pulled his hand away with an audible gulp. "No, nemmeno io ho così tanto desiderio di morte"( No not even I have that much of a death wish) the man said fear evident in his voice. Isabella wondered who this Leonardo person was and why was he so feared but as she started to put two and two together her heart began racing in her chest as she remembered where she heard that name before.

He places an arm around my shoulder and cuddles me to his side. I gladly snuggle up to him. He points to the fountain just outside the terrace, directly in our line of sight, and I realize that’s what he’d been staring at. A marble statue of a muscled man donning a shield and a spear sits at the center of the fountain. The expression on is face is filled with wrath. With divine vengeance. And something about the way he grips the spear seems almost god-like. Ares. The Greek god of war. Suddenly, the sunset that has turned the fountain water golden makes it look like blood flowing in rivulets out of coffers.

At once, every military officer in the base, those that are are sleeping, eating, in the toilet, or doing whatever, immediately left what they were doing at once and began to speed towards the central field. Everyone was glad, they were happy that the god of war is back. Everyone wants to see him, the dreadful beast who single handedly killed five hundred men in battle, the one who is best in the use of gun, best in the use of swords and best in martial arts. Once upon a time, the enemies sent three lions to him at the battle field, with his power, he tore the mouths of the lion and defeated them. Who would not be scared of the god of war?

Their assistance ended there, leaving Mathias to venture forth alone. "You are in the presence of the queen mother, the goddess of water, the great Amphitrite herself. Who dares to stand before our queen mother?" the servant of the goddess implored, his voice echoing with awe and reverence. The servant of the goddess appeared as a strange creature, with two horns as long as swords adorning his head, and a face resembling that of a bull. His upper body resembled that of a man, while his lower body possessed the sturdy form of a bull.
