T-Rex is the best but Triceratops is good too and Velociraptors are actually smaller than movies show and ” Charlotte launched into detailed dinosaur facts. “I can tell you’re going to teach us lots about dinosaurs this year. Dietary information and habitats were also included. I flicked through more pages and found more creatures, some of which I was familiar with. The names, at least. Unfortunately, the book wasn’t organised into alphabetical order, so I had to search a number of pages before I found what I was looking for: Mouse King.

She didn’t pull her hand away from his. She watched as Daniel pushed the green dinosaur to the edge of the paper, then picked it up and held it in front of his eyes, tilting his head to look at it. He turned the dinosaur over, with the bottom side facing up, and touched its belly with his finger. Then he put the dinosaur back on the paper. With his other hand, he picked up a crayon and drew something around the dinosaur—it was hard to tell from the rooftop’s perspective. It might have been a fence, or a castle, or maybe just a random scribble by a four-year-old child.

That's all the encouragement I need. "'I got lost the other day, so I've been looking for all of my friends,'" the dinosaur tells Brandon, its voice cracking as I strain my vocal chords too low.
