"Nobody hates kids!" I argued, leaning forward slightly. I had never heard anyone say that before.
"I do," William replied with a shrug, completely unfazed. "They’re nosy, clumsy, messy—a hazard waiting to happen."
I frowned at his response, unable to hide my disappointment. "No, they’re not. They’re angels. Blessings," I countered passionately.
