CHAPTER 38: ONCE UPON A PRINCESS…OR TWO You have been a very bad princess, Eretria Davilline Cone. The voice said as Era whimpered, as she hid in the cupboard. Right now, she was a child, barely 10 years old as she ran away from her angry father.

Prince Axel said. "Me too, I'm proud of them, wait where is Amaya? I haven't seen her today, remember we have to return to the palace early else we will miss aunt Kiara's yummy cakes." Princess Tracy replied. "Chop choppy, all I want is to be great like mom and dad and leave a great history for my own children, we are already 16 years, we will soon grow up and take responsibilities of our pack, I want us to make mom and dad proud always."

I swallowed, turning back to the four woman that were all older than me, the youngest probably twenty-six while the eldest around her early forties. "Welcome princess, we welcome you on behalf of the king to our vast lands." The eldest said, staring at me and analyzing my every move. I held her stare, not cowering under her very scary stare especially because she had purple eyes that should have been beautiful really, yet they had my body shudder and the way she spat the princess, as if she would kill me with the word itself.

And, I am not older than your father but younger." I grunted out loud " And, you and I both know that we supernatural creatures stop aging after the age of eighteen so why creating problems when they aren't any? Are you a fool, Princess Charlotte?" I asked.

“How old are you?” I grin at the half. I am only ten years older than this girl and I’m supposed to be the savior of the fae. It doesn’t seem right. A few minutes later a young women walked in. She had almost white hair it was so light blonde. Her eyes were a fascinating blue-violet. She walked to stand in front of The Royal Couple. With an elegant curtsey she greeted them all. " Your Majesty, Your Highness. Beloved Princess and honoured guests. On behalf of my parents and rulers of Denmark. I would like to thank you for your hospitality in welcoming us to your magnificent home." She said in a soft way that spoke of proper education and upbringing.

They both rised up, and in my surprise, they look at each other and then laugh as their eyes meets together. "My Prince! I missed you!" "So am I, my princess," and they hug each other tightly. I can't help but to smile, as I see how they closed to each other. They both missed the presence of each other. They have eight years gap. She's turning 19, while Noire's turning 27. Their age, are so far from each other, yet they seems like a twin with the same age as they collided. It's heart-warming. Once they are get contended, by hugging each other, they separate and smile again once their eyes connected. Silly creatures.

I loved being a queen but, most of all, I loved being a mother. I was through with my makeup and clothes, and we were ready to go to the park for the Kids' Fun Day. Every time, around this year, the palace hosted a Children's Fun Day for all the kids in the kingdom, and I was happy to be apart of it. It was almost summer. The sun was already in its glory, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Sebastian pushed Christian in his stroller through the park as the kids gathered around. I assisted with the spinning of the cotton candy and goody bags for the children. Music played from a truck and children ran and danced all around.

The debutante' ball will happen at the birthday of the lady that will debut that year and has the highest position. 'it's kind of unfair but as the princess, I shouldn't be saying that because I am fortunate that this even happened on the exact day of my birthday' I remembered before on my past life, I never had a celebration of my birthday not until I turned 20 because I am an orphan and I can't afford to even buy a small cake when I was younger because I don't have an allowance and I only lived at the orphanage. So when I turned 20 and had a stable job, I decided to celebrate my birthday because I want to atleast experience it just one.
