Hannah said. They walked for some minutes until they could see smoke from up ahead. Hannah led the way until they reached the campsite. There was a tent around a clearing of medium-sized rocks and a pheasant was roasting over the campfire. “That water trip took you longer than expected,” Garin said from within the tent. “I ran into a little something that delayed me,” Hannah replied. He came out of the tent and the both of them approached each other. Garin held her around the waist and pulled her in for a deep kiss which lasted a few seconds until he pulled away after noticing the blood on her sleeve.

"She’s been in a mood all day. I think Environmental Day just stressed her out." "Well, listen," Hannah said, leaning into the camera. "I’m calling because I have to head back home—to my parents’ place—just for twenty-four hours. I need to pick up some documents and a few things from the safe. I was wondering... do you want to tag along? We could stay the night, have a nice dinner away from campus?" As Hannah was speaking, a notification banner slid across the top of my tablet. It was a text from Luca. Luca: Hannah’s heading to the parents' tonight. That means the house is mine. No sisters. No shadows.

I said softly. He didn’t look at me. “I don’t like this.” “Because they were expecting us?” “Yes.” He exhaled slowly. “Someone built that camp.” “Someone trained those wolves.” “And someone is planning something much bigger than border raids.” The words sent a cold shiver down my spine. Before I could respond, the front door opened behind us again. Hannah stepped outside. Her hair was messy from sleep, and she wore one of Eric’s oversized hoodies. “What’s going on?” she asked.

Hannah got up each morning to a panoramic, ringside seat looking out over mountains and forests, and a hundred-plus miles of pure visibility. Unfortunately, running water was limited. Her bathing choices were stream, pond, or go dirty. The pond was already choking up with algae as the water levels dropped further with each passing day, so Hannah headed for the stream. After losing her radio—and Cole, a little voice in her head said—falling asleep had been hard. She’d have to decide if she was hiking out tomorrow to pick up new gear or if she wanted to sit tight for a couple of days and hope base camp figured out her dilemma. Maybe a little cold water would clear her head, make things clearer

As Anna drifted off to sleep, she couldn’t help but think about tomorrow’s camping trip and all the fun they would have together. The next day, after breakfast, the camp leaders gathered everyone and explained that in order to participate in the camping trip, campers would hike up the mountain with a tent and supplies. They gave everyone a tent, supplies, a map and a book for identifying edible plants. Then they explained that there were several trails leading up to suitable campgrounds on the mountain and that campers could identify, harvest and taste wild edible plants growing along the trails. Anna listened intently to the camp leader’s instructions, her mind already racing with thoughts

"Alpha Maxwell will have a chef. It's talented people he needs. An artist or shoe makers or something." He goes back to his papers. "Cooking is considered an art by some..." I say to no one. Suddenly, someone appears at my side. It's Alpha Nico. "I thought you went out hunting," I say, as a jolt of fear strikes me. Has he overheard me? I don't want him to think I'm ungrateful. "Hunting is a young man's game," he replies with a chuckle. "What are you doing in here, Hannah?"

**Avery's POV** The weekend is finally here, and I can hardly contain my excitement. Hannah and Sandra have been my biggest cheerleaders, and I’m so grateful to have met Hannah. She’s such a charming person, and I feel lucky to have her in my life. They practically forced me to ditch Gideon and go dress shopping for our visit to his family after school on Friday. Hannah met us at the store since she doesn’t attend the same school as us; she’s busy pursuing her dream of becoming a chef, and I can’t blame her—her father is an amazing cook.

Next thing I know Ryder, Jess, and Jayce's girlfriend hannah appear behind them. Like Jess, Hannah has a fake spray tan too much makeup, she has grass green eyes and light brown hair cut into a bob. "From what you said earlier, I learned you are not a wrong person or a stalker or rude. You are serious about our deal; you even come here just to make up for the few days you will be gone. That's professionalism for me. " She was about to leave, but Josh still wouldn't let go of her hand. "What? I'm serious about what I said. You can leave now. Our deal is off." said Raven. Josh released Raven. "Be safe going home," Raven said, then left the room. Josh grabbed her head. 'What's with her?' Josh thought. ------ There were no classes that day at the entire university except the college of nursing. The hunters agreed to stay at the coffee shop just opposite their university. With them is Hugo.

The last thing she wanted was to be touched by that creepy lady. “My father said he hid a gift for me somewhere in this tent. Would you help me find it? Then, I think I’ll go and get some fresh air and maybe some water. Yeah, water would be great, too.” “Sure, I’ll help you. Mr. Namirha gave strict orders to watch you and take care of you. I won’t let him down.”
