I picked up a fork and looked at Zeke. Years ago, he was a scholarship student Dad had sponsored. He lived with us for a while when he first came to the city, then left with his parents and went on to build something big overseas. After the pandemic, he began moving his business back to the country. He was a decent man, and I wasn't in any position to deserve him. I gave a helpless laugh and decided to make things clear. "Zeke, I—" Just then, a sharp, urgent knock cut me off.

One was held by their father, the other by their mother. They were separated due to the war; one managed to cross into the other dimension, while the other was trapped for many years. After decades of trying, the other one finally crossed the dimension. He is now searching for his father and twin brother, who are somewhere in the human world. Troy Lance has been searching for his twin brother Travis RAZEL for years now, but there's no trace of them. But he never gives up. Maybe they've been separated for too many decades? Maybe his father thinks he and his mother are already dead. Regardless, he knows they will reunite someday.

“I might just as well continue with it. I need to get to the house, pretend to be a good mate, and see if I can get something out of that red head.” “That jerk,” I made a low growl. “His name’s Zeke,” I gave him a look. He shouldn’t admit that kind of thing in an open place. He may like me, but as far as the tradition of this land goes, he has to keep it under wraps. For now, at least. “How’s that going to help?” Davina asked me. “I assumed you were all knowing,” Elora turned to her with a surprise smirk. Davina scoffed. “I can’t see everything at once. Especially when I’m stuck in this body.”

Sitting at a table with Kyle, Steve, Suzie, and Grayson I cannot stop myself from staring at Alpha Zac as he addresses the pack. I thought Grayson was delicious-looking, but fuck he was just a snack compared to Alpha Zac. He is built like a sex god. He was at least a foot taller than me, with chocolate brown hair that was perfectly tousled. Longer on the top, short on the sides. Piercing blue eyes, the same color as the rivers around us. "What is this?" he asked, panic swelling in his chest. "Zeke, what's wrong?" Sophie called as she hurried after him. She saw the divorce papers resting on the table, and joy flooded her. Lily was gone at last, and Zeke was entirely Sophie's now. "Help me check that, Sophie. What's that?"

His mother had gone to the human world to heal. A few years ago he had a serious crush on Angie Hill, daughter of the Silver Moon pack Alpha, much to my despair. However, Angie left him for someone else, stating she needed time to think. Zeke was distressed, falling apart, and I was the one who lovingly helped piece him back together. Ever since, we were inseparable.

Even when Kai tried to dominate us, we found a way to stick our heads up. My eyes met Zeke's grey orbs, clinging to him and analyzing his reaction. As usual, there was no eagerness in his eyes. He was like a cold fish, unresponsive, and didn't care less about this movement. Kai always says my brain is porous like a sieve, making me unfit to be alpha. He suggested I make my niche as a p**n actor. He said Zeke was hopelessly melancholic. After the death of Dad and mom, he became an energy vampire, bored, dissatisfied, and bottled up, preferring to be alone.
