Do Butterflies Bite Novels & Stories

I stared at their fragile beauty, suspended midair, lighting up the rotting stone walls and crumbling arches. “Wait,” I said suddenly, my brow furrowing. “They look like fireflies.” “They’re not.” Bryan stopped in his tracks and turned back to me. “They’re souls.” I blinked. “What?” “Souls of butterflies,” he said. “Cursed to remain. Do you think butterflies naturally glow like that?” I stared longer. Their wings shimmered, but their bodies held no life—just hollow, glowing husks. My stomach twisted. “That’s… disturbing.”

Worst than a mosquito bite and those bitches hurt. "Didn't anyone tell you that biting innocent girls can get you killed?" The next thing I know, this guy throws the one that bit me, against a wall with one punch. How does someone have that much strength. Then again, I just witness a vampire and freaking bit me "Now, next time think twice. Goodnight." He said and then he grabbed the guy's head and ripped it off. I was trying to get some air but wasn't working. I was dizzy from him drinking my blood and what I just freaking witness today.

As soon as the nest burst open upon collision to the head of the beast, thumb-sized flying insects came out of it. They are the small but terrible, violet hornets. There were too many of them, that it looks like an entire colony gets out of the nest. Everyone was present! Are they currently having a family reunion up there??? The flying insects look like a hornet but its color was of deep violet. They hover all over the beast's head. Some even alight to the beast's massive body. From the beast's reaction, it seems that the violet hornets are not just resting on its body. They were stinging him all at the same time.

With every flap of its wings, a sweet aroma as well as tiny green flower petals fell off its wings. There were six smaller similar looking butterflies flying around the massive one. These were around 50 meters tall, all of different colors, white, red, pink, green, black and light blue. Milton stood to his feet and observed the butterflies with interest, he realised that all six of these, all of different affinities.
