Sera traced the sharp lines of his jaw, the roughness of his stubble, down to the fullness of his lips. He caught her finger between his teeth, biting down playfully, dark eyes watching her beneath heavy lids.

A smile ghosted her lips. Before he could react, she leaned forward and bit into his neck, hard enough to leave a mark. A hickey, a brand, a warning.
