Clinical.” She wrapped her arms around herself. “Do you really turn into a giant wolf and howl at the moon?” I cracked a smile. “Yeah. But not like that. It is not a monster thing. It is just... me. But more.”

“It’s not as strong as you’d think, but we’re all lunatics. It has some draw on us. We can’t describe it. We don’t worship the moon or anything.” “I see,” she said. “But what about this pull of blood you mentioned. Do you suck blood the way vampires would?” Kane laughed heartily. “Vampires? Now that’s too much.” “Are you kidding me? You’re a werewolf.” “I’m alive, Kiera. I’m part animal, part human. That makes some sense. I’m not a pale walking thing that’s supposedly dead but isn’t, that can’t step into the light for some reason. They drink blood but don’t piss or shit. Where does the blood go, I wonder? The doctor nodded interestedly. “Vampire blood. What do you know about it?” The gray-haired man crinkled his brow, puzzled. “Consumption of vampire blood,” I specified. “What effect can that have on a werewolf? Alexander has been fighting vampires, as you know. I don’t believe he consumes their blood on purpose, but he does fight them with his teeth…” The doctor shifted in his chair again. I could tell it creeped him out to think about this, but he tried to keep his face neutrally professional.

I begin to worry. "I thought werewolves can't get drunk?" I ask curiously. He smiles, revealing a perfect set of white teeth. Now, I understand why all the women in the mansion or even in the pack as a whole, are all fawning and dying even just to sleep with him. He is so good-looking. "Well, of course werewolves can get drunk and still be wolves. With some selected herbs in the right ratios," he explains, still smiling as he brush his shoulders against mine.

I hadn't even seen a single maid around and from his posture, he didn't look like the type who loved people walking around his property or even invading his privacy. Was he even eating? Even as werewolves, aside from the normal human food we eat just for the fun of it, the main thing we needed was fresh meat and blood from other animals. I couldn't tell if he was getting any of the two but my gut feeling was only proclaiming to me that he was the type to skip meals.

I asked, my throat feeling dry. He studied me silently for a moment, then chuckled as he shifted, dried leaves crunching under his boots. “The blood of a werewolf is like a fine brandy…strong, heady. But the blood of a pregnant she-wolf?” “I'm quite sure our blood is meant to poison you dirty creatures!” I spat. “Is that what your folklore told you?” Luca asked, his eyebrows arched. “Is that what you read in your ancient books?” He added, laughing quietly.

Allison and Tyler. “Ew,” I spit out before I can catch myself. Jake laughs at my reaction, holding the door open for me. “It is actually a natural thing among the packs. They do not care whether they are caught or heard. It is the way of nature,” Jake says with a tone of sarcasm. I enter the cabin, still disgusted at what Jake said. I do not care if it is natural, there is still mutual respect and human decency. Perhaps werewolves do not have the latter.

-Werewolves- The werewolves change forms on full moon nights and seek for blood to replenish their thirst. They seek for royal blood to change their forms whenever they wish to and to not be controlled by the energy of the red moon. They have to mate with someone on a red moon night and if they do, they can’t break off the bond for their whole lifetime. The royal blood makes them immortal as well and gives them healing and killing abilities. -Ferals-

I muttered. “A wild beast who drained her blood neatly, plucked out her heart like berries from the vineyard? What manner of beast do you think is capable of sort precision?” Rudolph shot back. “Not a regular beast that you can use muscles to wrestle.” He replied, making me realize it was actually a rhetorical question. “If they aren't myths, I thought they hate werewolves’ blood?” I asked, trying not to sound lost. “Yes. Normal Vampires are the ones who wear dark coats and drink their blood out of wine glasses, and feast on humans. These...these are beasts! They-”

It screeched in protest, flapping its wings and trying to escape. Laughing, I petted the bird's head and dug my fangs into it. Alexis gasped in horror and moved away from me. "You're so evil!" She cried. "Why are you hurting such a beautiful bird?" "That's funny coming from a werewolf, don't you think?" She rolled her eyes. "At least we're not spooky or prey on humans." "Not all vampires drink human blood. Some of us survive on animal blood and we don't lose control and turn into ferocious beasts during the full moon.
