As he continued to suck my blood, I came to a realization. Alpha Alexander wasn't a werewolf. In the early hundreds, dated to the beginning of the werewolf era, we were never involved in the cannibalism of eating one another. The only things we ate that bled were raw steak, raw fish, raw bird meat and cooked lamb meat. "A Blue Blood shot is a werewolf’s biggest weakness when it comes to alcohol. Werewolf systems are different from humans! We don’t get drunk easily by consuming regular human alcohol." She smirked. "But we do have our own alcohol called the Blue Blood shot. If humans drink it, they’d probably die from alcohol poisoning after just one shot! That’s why this club is called the Blue Bloods. The shots are only given to werewolves, but humans don’t even know about it."

I asked walking back into the living room and sitting on the couch. “You really want to know?”. She sat on the chair by the window kicking off her shoes. I furrowed my eyebrows. Something told me I wasn’t going to like the answer. “He would go out, get blind drunk and bang anything insight”. “I guess that would get all his frustrations out”. I took a sip of my wine. “Talking about being blind drunk. I thought werewolves didn’t get hangovers?”. “Depends on how much we drink”. “Right”. We fell into a comfortable silence but it wasn’t awkward. Reaching for the remote I turned on the tv for some background noise.

I think I'm still very sleepy because in the dim light of my room I can see a glint from Alex's slightly glossy eyes, like someone who's about to cry. "Go home to where?" I asked do not understand. "To the house. To our Pack." I blinked my eyes again, this time really looking into his face. Her face was slightly flushed and her eyes looked heavy and glazed. My nose smells a foreign scent that rarely smells from him. "Are you drunk?" I whispered in disbelief. As I recall, werewolves rarely get drunk because their metabolism is faster than humans. "What?" he replied in a voice that, although drunk, still sounded very clear.

“You’ve never worked at a Supe party, have you? I shake my head and her smile increases as she goes over the expectations. It’s pretty straightforward, except for a few caveats. “Werewolves need their drinks at double strength,” she explains. “It's a metabolism thing. They just burn the alcohol too quickly for a good buzz. The opposite is true for witches. They need half strength mixed with tonic.” “How will I know what to offer?” “Wolves are pretty obvious. They’ll ask for the strongest drinks AND they will be on full display tonight. And the witches, well, you’ll see.”

Now he turned to leave, but the transformation in his features didn’t escape me—Kaiden was a bloodsucker werewolf. According to legends, myths, and ancient books, they were rare—almost extinct. “How can you guys even drink that? And seriously Red liquid, I’m not a kid, Lucas, I won’t faint if you said blood. On a serious note, you guys need to stop; I am still debating if you guys are werewolves or Vampires.” I just shrugged with a little smile playing on my lips. “I thought you knew we were werewolves. And I didn’t want you to panic like last time when you fainted after we told you, we both drink blood. Also, if Zane or Olivia got the whiff of it, you know it won’t end well.”

I didn't know if they were dead or just badly injured but that scene really freaked me out. The blood of many werewolves mixed together flowed on the floor. The two sides fought so fiercely, they used their sharp claws and fangs to scratch and bite them like ferocious beasts that devoured their prey that I watched in the animal world shows. Alpha King and Jack rush into battle together. Both of them used all their energy and concentration to gain the upper hand in the battle. The chaotic scene with blood and screams made me not dare to look. The maids weren't here, maybe they were lured by Jack to somewhere else.
