He motioned me over and I wanted to ignore him and be difficult but I ended up giving into him and in no time, I was being tugged atop him on the bed. His hands circled my hips and he rolled sideways, legs trapping me in the bed against him. I clutched his arm and sucked in deep breaths in order to fill my lungs of his scent. He was holding me like he didn’t want me to escape, like I’d even take the chance if I was given one. “That was a red room.” He finally spoke and I blinked up at him in confusion. “What’s a red room?” I asked while my mind wandered. "It's best if you come with me." He rose from his chair and approached his bookcase. He pulled out a blue book and opened a secret door. "All the answers that you seek are inside here." "You have a secret base?" I know my grandfather can be secretive, but having a secret room is different, and he did not like to have one. But never judge a book by its cover. "Please follow me and watch your steps." He tried to light a candle, but I summoned a light orb which is more manageable. "Thank you."

No answer. His footsteps were quiet against the hardwood as he followed the candlelit path. It led straight toward the closed door at the far end of the hall. The light inside was dim, lit only by more candles scattered across the space, their flames casting shadows against deep crimson walls. But the real sight that stole his breath was her.

This was supposed to be the room my mother secured for me. Why are you here, you little thing?” He let out a cold, dismissive scoff, eyes scanning me with blatant disdain. “Tch… do you even realize who you’re speaking to?”

It's as if you're listening to some horror radio drama. "it's better to know less than knowing more into the details.
