Regret After Her Final Goodbye

Regret After Her Final Goodbye

I smiled back, thankful, and then I walked away. I did not look back or hold on. I was like a quiet breeze, gone from this world.

A Regret in Red

A Regret in Red

] [Reply to me. Message after message, there was no response at all. My hands shook as I continued to type. [Aurora, stop throwing a tantrum. We can fix all our misunderstandings.] [What do you want? Where do you want to go? I can promise that I'll make any of your requests come true as compensation.] After a moment, I sent another message. [About your mother's painting, I didn't lend you money because you were bidding on an imitation.] [I've bought the real one. I'll bring it to you now.]

His Regret

His Regret

“ I thought that I would let you be and keep to myself but I realise now that it was a mistake. I should have confronted you about the welcome party you threw for her when you said you were going to attend a gala. I was an idiot for believing whatever you say. In a sense, this is my fault. I didn't even mention that I wasn't feeling well and I missed my parents. In case you forgot, my parents died. They have been gone for a long time and this is where they are buried. That is why I came here to visit them. I'm not some crazy stalker like you think but yeah, you can think whatever. I don't care anymore. You can continue taking care of Anna. She matters more to you than I do.” I lost my compos

My Ex's Greatest Regret

My Ex's Greatest Regret

Her face turned completely pale. I continued calmly, "You said the greatest regret of your life was not being able to marry him, so I decided to help you fix that regret. I met with Vince and told him I was willing to step aside. As long as you could stand in front of everyone and say 'I do,' I would back out completely."

The Don Regretted It Five Years After I Left

The Don Regretted It Five Years After I Left

She whispered: “Mommy, why does that man's face look so red?” I smoothed her damp hair back. “Because he threw away the best thing he ever had, and now it's too late for regrets.” The red in Dante's face went toward purple. Humiliated by a civilian in front of everyone. Exposed by a five-year-old. Whatever was left of his dignity crumbled. “Mia. Don't push me.” He stepped forward fast, hand reaching for my arm. “A Moretti woman doesn't just leave for whoever she—” His hand didn't reach me.

You Will Regret Rejecting Me

You Will Regret Rejecting Me

"You look worse." Something in his face shifted, not a smile exactly, but the precursor of one. It was the specific expression she remembered from before he'd become an Alpha. When he was still the person who laughed easily and didn't yet know what authority cost. She registered the memory of that person and registered that registering it hurt in a way that had nothing to do with the rejection ceremony and everything to do with time. "I'm trying to figure out," he said carefully, "how to say I'm sorry in a way that isn't completely inadequate."

His Biggest Regret Was Me

His Biggest Regret Was Me

Beneath the flickering glow of the harbor's mercury lamps, Charlie stared at his son's face with eyes overflowing with distorted love and endless regret. "Forgive me, Leo..." Charlie whispered. Warm tears streamed down his face, only to freeze almost instantly upon his gaunt cheeks. He released one long, weary breath into the frozen air, carrying away the last traces of warmth from his slowly fading body. "Your father can no longer give you a great name... but I've made sure there will never again be a monster's shadow haunting your mother. Grow up strong... my son."

Great storyline! Love the characters... Laughed, cried, got angry... some parts were too drawn out others too short. A few grammatical errors, but overall a truly great read!!! Definitely would recommend it to others!

I really love this book. Huge character maturity over time. Unique story for this platform. You will fall in love with the characters and may even gain a new "book boyfriend" out of the read. The book is not short, but that makes it better to follow the roller-coaster love story. Great job, author!
