"Go puke on yourself, Derek." I left him standing there and walked toward Dr. Owen's office. With every step, my heart beat faster. I stopped outside his door, staring at the nameplate. Dr. Owen Prescott, Chief of Surgery. I swallowed hard and knocked. "Come in."

"Your doctors have no ethics and are playing with people’s lives. If my grandpa remains under their care, he might not make it through the day!" The uproar from the upset family grew louder, forcing the director to step into the operating room and send Liam out to deal with the situation. The moment Liam left the operating room, a family member slapped him. "Do you have any idea who my grandpa is? He's a war hero from '43!" the family member yelled, "People line up just to see him, and what about that doctor you supervise? How did she even get her license? Bring her out here now!"

I can see myself not eating for the next seven months. But then my next horror comes, this man, this Doctor, wants Jenna to open that gown so he can touch her. "I am sorry, but that ain't happening. "Don't you have any patients, Doctor?" Berry tried to redirect the conversation. "Yes," the Doctor replied shortly. "Do you need medication for your patients?"

"You heard me Alpha Richard. Take of the shirt." "Why should I?" He asked in an affronted manner. "Look Alpha Richard, I'm the Doctor here and I have absolutely no other purposes other than to do just that. If you’re asking,” I huffed, placing my hands on my waist, “It's because I had to check the wound you seem to be hiding under that shirt. You may not have noticed but it’s open and bleeding onto your shirt right now." I said. I could see the look of astonishment and realization as he looked down carefully to see it doing just that.

He began to cough and threw up a patch of blood. "If I had known about all this, there wouldn't have been anything to sabotage, because I wouldn't have allowed it to happen in the first place. Now, who are you, and what exactly do you do here?" Bryan questioned again, this time with his claws to accompany him. It looked like he wasn't part of all this... but how was that possible? I still couldn't believe it. I wouldn't believe it. "My name is Doctor Donovan Carter, and I am a scientist."

I had my charm and it still works, perhaps she was the only soul that it was yet to work on. When the door opened, the Doctor was led into the room by one of the cleaning ladies. This was a different doctor, it wasn't my Doctor, probably a replacement doctor who was called in last minute to tend to my wound and so he had to hurry over here hearing that I just got shot and needed medical help.

I turned to Zelo who was just looking at me as if I was the most degraded type of person for him. "Why don't you enlighten me so I can fucking stop this rebellion?" The Doctor was a little surprised by the tone of my speech to Zelo, who was looking at me with folded arms. He didn't say a word and just waited for my treatment to finish. He just sat on the far side of the bed when everyone left.

Scarlet and I exchanged confused glances. “Oh my, I heard Doctor Theo is really here today. He’s so handsome.” I turned slightly toward Scarlet. “Theo?” She nodded, eyes lighting up. “Doctor Theoris Lucian Moreau. He’s the most famous, the most brilliant, and the owner of major hospitals around the world, including this one. He’s a billionaire doctor.” My eyes widened as I slowly nodded. “He became famous at a young age. He’s a genius.” “You seem to know a lot about him.”

As Haley expected, the Doctor wasn't at all enthusiastic about the idea. “Young Lady, this idea is dangerous. It is out of my professional ethics to-” “Doc, doing this is like saving a life,” Haley interrupted. “I'm not in the position to teach you your work, but she'll get into that situation if the Woods Family takes action.” The Doctor wasn't a stranger to the happenings in the city. Not only was he the Woods Family's personal doctor, but he was also a close friend of Camille's father. Haley could trust no one else with this job.
