I sigh as I cross my arms over my chest. "That's the guy that lives next door to you? The guy that's 'pretty cute'? Seriously, Piper how can you possibly be mad at that?" Lyra asks, her eyes staring thoughtfully after him. I roll my eyes, ultimately unimpressed. "Whatever. He's an ass" I conclude, my mind pretty much made up. "You are so freaking lucky. This guy is too nice, that means there's bound to be trouble. He has too much compassion for others who are less fortunate than himself. And I don't like this kind of people. I am the type of person who hates charity and kindness so bad, i'm afraid of myself sometimes. The fact that he wants to befriend me, makes me feel uneasy. Even though, he's actually quite nice.
