The juice carton slipped from my hand, splashing amber liquid across the white tile. I didn't stop to clean it. I ran.
"Ivy, I’m so sorry," Matt, one of the junior residents, said as I reached the wing. He looked sick with guilt. "I don't know how she bypassed security. By the time I saw her, she was already inside."
