A tall, thin man with dark blonde hair and blue eyes framed with circular, silver glasses walks out in a t-shirt and jogging shorts with what is arguably the most beautiful dog I've seen in my entire life. Concerns about my first impressions are gone and I let out an embarrassing squeal as I rush towards the dog. The man startles and pulls on the leash, pulling the dog back towards him. The movement makes me realize what a psychopath I probably look like and I halt my steps at the end of his walkway.

Christmas carols echoed from the banquet hall, but their melodies couldn't pass through the stone walls of the detention center. I was curled up in a corner of the silver cage. My diamond-studded dress that cost millions of dollars was torn up, and the burns on my skin that were caused by silver weapons were throbbing lightly. Three hours ago, I was still at the Silvermane pack's Christmas ball. Damien Londo, the strongest Alpha in the world, and the wolf whom I had loved for five years, dragged me out of the banquet hall in front of all the other wolves as if I were nothing but trash. He then threw me into the detention center.

Now, sitting outside with a book open in his lap, Sebastian was trying to understand more about hybrids without wolves. He was so absorbed in the text that he did not notice Rex approaching until his shadow fell across the page. Sebastian looked up . Rex’s eyes dropped to the title of the book. Before Sebastian could react, Rex reached down and picked it up. My heart galloped like a mother trucking horse as the image of a dog that spat lava entered my mind. I've never seen a Hellhound before but from what I've heard, they were ferocious beasts whose talons could slice through an iron door and canines could rip through a rocket ship. They had the ability to make themselves vanish before their prey's eyes, becoming invisible. At first, I thought it was an exaggeration of course cause let's be real. Why the hell would a dog want to chew a rocket ship? It's ridiculous. But when I was in high school, I stumbled upon a book of demons that showed me the image of how a true hellhound looked.

Ace was a little confused as to why this woman was sitting in the empty chair in front of him. Ace glanced up, his curiosity piqued by the unexpected intrusion. His gaze narrowed as he observed the woman, his expression guarded as he reached for the folder. Who is this woman? How did she receive this? Flipping it open, his eyes widened in recognition as he scanned the contents within—George's name emblazoned across the top in bold letters. As he dove deeper into the dossier, his lips curled into a sinister smile, a predatory gleam flickering in his eyes. The woman watched him closely, her own expression inscrutable as she awaited his reaction.

Ryan asks quietly, though I doubt shouting would wake this dead-to-the-world puppy. I look up at him and smile. "Yes. It was a very good surprise. Thank you." Ryan looks away and a smile graces his lips. "I thought you didn't want a dog, though." He is quiet for a moment, looking at his hands. "I thought a dog might be good for you," he says finally. "Maybe for me too." Ryan reaches into the box and pulls out a book titled Your Samoyed and You. He opens the book and begins to read silently. My eyes widen at the picture of a large, fluffy white dog on the front.

Manik smiles. The white Iru enveloping him vanishes. “Harasho is the most reasonable dogma. You can say that it projects the current life.” Manik reaches into his jacket pockets and draws their contents. There are two books on his hands. A pink book with a couple smiling at each other on a heart frame on the cover is on his right hand and a red book with a short hair woman crying on the cover is on his left hand. “Which Doujin do you like, Your Highness?” Manik asked.
