Dog Novel Novels & Stories

He nodded and said we can go ahead to check the dogs out. The pound was crazy loud with different dogs barking. I tried bonding with some of the dogs but that wasn't any connections. We kept moving until I got to a cage. In there were two dogs. They were so quiet, staring at me like they were trying to read my soul. I then noticed how huge they were with their black fur that had hints of brown around the neck and underbelly. "Those two are the wildest in this pound. It's surprising seeing them this calm." Brad said. I looked at him and turned back to the dogs. "I want them." I simply said.

“I’ve sent in DNA found on the dead animals, and it finally came back. It belongs to a domestic dog breed, most likely a mastiff-type breed, though it’s not a purebred mastiff.” A jolt shot through Zephyra, and she sat up straighter. “This totally clears the shifters then, doesn’t it?” Richards nodded and Zephyra could barely contain her excitement— she was glad to be able to truly eliminate them from the list, and apparently Dylan felt the same. He made a whine-yip sound that Zephyra interpreted as happiness. But then she frowned, realizing that this development didn’t narrow down their list of possible suspects at all. “This guy could be anyone. Probably eighty percent of the population h

He waited until he demon dog sniffed him and nuzzled its head against his palm and licked his offered skin. “You’re a good girl aren’t you?” Win just felt that this pup was a female and if the yip he got in return was anything to go by then he was right. Win started to pet and scratch the black dog uncaring of the red eyes that were staring him down. “Win dear! Win do not move an inch.” Adom tone went from happy to concerned and deadly the moment he entered the room seeing a obvious hellhound puppy getting pets from his obvious Win. “She’s so precious, can we keep her?” Win looked up as the hellhound curled up in his arms while purring with contentment.

Christmas carols echoed from the banquet hall, but their melodies couldn't pass through the stone walls of the detention center. I was curled up in a corner of the silver cage. My diamond-studded dress that cost millions of dollars was torn up, and the burns on my skin that were caused by silver weapons were throbbing lightly. Three hours ago, I was still at the Silvermane pack's Christmas ball. Damien Londo, the strongest Alpha in the world, and the wolf whom I had loved for five years, dragged me out of the banquet hall in front of all the other wolves as if I were nothing but trash. He then threw me into the detention center.

He continued: "Dogs eat from dog bowls and drink from water bowls. Dogs do not climb on furniture uninvited. They lay on the floor, or on their bed or in their cage if they are put there. Dogs poop and pee in the back yard, not in the house, except on a pee pad. Do you get the idea Rose? You will do everything the way a dog does things. Dogs only do a few things- they eat, pee, poop, play sleep, sniff, and reproduce. Now, what are your questions?"

he growls. And how I fucking hate it when he uses my full name. It always means bad news. He picks up the dog, who barks happily. “It’s a purebred Doberman. You are not equipped for that. If you don’t find a dog school that you will take him to outside your lessons, I’ll tell Nerthus that she should sell it online.” “Okay,” I groan. I know that I should find a school for the puppy, but I keep forgetting to look it up constantly. And I also know that he and Amber love the dog too much to give it away.

“This has got to be them.” Chief Hayes looked at the sheriff and then looked over to me. “Any evidence to suggest that this was not the work of an animal?” I looked at the limp and flabby pile of bloody sinew that used to be Principal Graham. “Witness across the street described the assailant as a large black dog,” I said. “But I’ve never heard of a dog doing anything like this. Not this bad, anyway.” “You’d be surprised how vicious some breeds can get,” said the DNR guy. He didn’t look much older than James. I didn’t recognize him, but a lot of those guys live in the country.

I sat on the lengthy couch. One of the big dogs that has a silver dog tag with the name 'Four' is a passive type. I know from the first glance that it's a she. She let me rub her head and her tail waggles. The rest of the dogs have the same silver tags with their names that are after a number. The little wild type is called 'One'. Some are sniffing my knees. While soothing myself with the docile dogs, Linly gave me a cup of chocolate tea. "We're preparing for tomorrow's celebration, the comeback of the lost ones. I'm sorry if we can't address your purpose here yet."
