Once a Doormat, Now Untouchable
The moment Yoyo spotted her through the glass doors, he bounded forward like a furry missile, tail wagging so fast it looked like a helicopter rotor.
Polly and Peter, who had just gotten out of the car, were both startled. They worried the excited dog might knock her over, but Yoyo skidded to a halt a few steps away just as they moved to stop him. He braced his front paws, tail still spinning, and pressed his head affectionately against Sydney's legs.
"Woof! Woof!"
"Yoyo, you're back!" Sydney squatted to hug Yoyo, breathing in the faint floral scent of her freshly washed fur.
