I reached out with shiver-wracked hands and grabbed the fabric of his trousers at his knee, clinging to him as if he were my only lifeline in a vast, dark ocean.
"You're making a scene, Danny," Cassian said, his eyes narrowing as he looked down at me holding onto him. "Stop this."
