“Everything okay?” I hesitated, not wanting to unload too much, but her face was open, easy to talk to. “It’s complicated,” I said. “I’ve got twins, Dahlia and Delilah. They’re five, full of energy. And my… partner, Oliver, he’s been dealing with some family issues too.” She tilted her head, her smile soft. “Twins sound like a handful,” she said. “What are they like?” I grinned, thinking of them. “They’re amazing,” I said. “Dahlia’s the talker, always asking questions. Delilah’s quieter, loves drawing. They keep me busy, but I love it.”

Epilogue. A Look Back. "Nyle Nattasha, say bye to Mommy". Cyrus held them up so that they could kiss Denzel while Nattarika and Nattarine were waiting patiently for their turn. The elder twins were 5 years now and the youngest were 2. Super active and excited bubbles. The four were the life of Montgomery Home.

The old man gives me a brief nod and then comes inside his home again. The Hale twins are playing in front of their lawn, with matching pigtails and dresses. The two have grown into two adorable seven-year-olds. They run towards my direction, pulling my hand to join their playtime. “We missed you, Charlie!” Tom cheerfully smiles at me, flashing her adorable set of teeth with eyes closed. Kacy, her twin, tugs my hand to capture my attention. The two drags me to their sand pit, showing me their half-finished sand castle in progress.

So, needless to say, I was fuming, and of course, to everyone else, it might just look like I was taking their shit. These two were known as ‘the twins’ on campus because of how eerily similar they looked and acted, but the catch was that they were born from two different families; hell, Kristen was older than Donny by four months. Regardless, they chose a day between their birthdays as a day to celebrate and liked to call each other “twin” or “sister.”

I said to her. She flashed a smile as she bounced happily towards the stairs. I watched as they trooped up the stairs and I returned back to the kitchen. I smiled, knowing I had a happy family. Luna who was ten was in her final year in elementary school and Lucas, eighteen by age was in his final year too in high school. The twins five years each still had three years to complete their elementary education.

Because they knew they could not afford for a new car or a truck to add onto their list of things to be changed. Twins entered the home and were welcomed by both Peter Daniel Dominic and his wife Effie Dominic. They were an elegant looking couple in their 60s. The clothes they wore did not scream like they own a multi-billion dollar company. The best looking jewelry they wore was their smile. The welcoming smile that had already embraced the twins in a way a grandparent would.

Even though Cole felt a big move in his heart, he found it hard to still say anything or return the hug. “We missed you, Daddy.” Enzo grinned, pulling away from eyes of his lookalike in the the bus staring into the older version. “We were getting sad that you won’t come to see us. Mommy said she was going to bring you.” “Y….y….you both are twins?” Cole asked. As far as he knew, Hailey had two boys but never did it cross his mind that they were the same age. The little boys nodded. “I’m Ollie and this is Enzo. We are four years old.” He raised four fingers.

She can be very stubborn that woman. They got Tilly a few years after we got Alec, so she is 13 now and then Damon again after a couple of years, which makes him 11. When we asked if they were getting more, she laughed and said they didn’t need to with the way all others were spitting out babies.

Rohan turned red. They were twins—one icy blonde, the other a redhead. Otherwise, identical. “Zoe… hi, Zena,” Rohan replied, visibly flustered. I had never seen him this uncomfortable before. “Why don’t you go get your sister Serenya? Alpha Killian wants to speak with her.” They both nodded and ran off, giggling. “The Lycan King certainly has beautiful daughters,” I teased. “The twins clearly have a crush on you.” “They’re sixteen,” he muttered, clearing his throat.

A flash of white-blonde hair caught Taliana’s attention as she settled in, causing her to turn and look at the two girls sitting in the third row. Had it been under any other circumstances, she probably wouldn't have recognized the twins. They’d been towheaded kids the last time she’d seen them, and while their platinum-blonde hair hadn’t darkened a single shade, they certainly didn't look like the tomboys she remembered. No, the sixteen-year-olds looked more like the fashionistas Taliana’s mother wished she could’ve been. Vanessa was the first to notice Taliana’s presence, momentarily glancing up from the phone she’d been furiously messaging away on. She flashed Taliana a quick smile before
