My Husband and His Doll

My Husband and His Doll

The comments ripped into his actions. "Pathetic! He can't even hold on to that doll!" "Dorothy's still waiting for him in the hospital, yet he's here confronting Laura!" "What's Laura up to? What's gonna happen after she gives him back the doll?" I returned to the couch, sat down, and lifted the teacup to my lips. "You have two choices, Calvin. First, you can get the hell out of this house and take the doll with you. I bought this house before we got married, and my name's on the car title. I want you to leave with nothing.

His Doll

His Doll

Ruhi said drinking a glass of water," Di, do you know who is our new neighbour?" I am wiping my children's mouth and asked," Who?" The house was empty for almost one year. The house's condition is not that good. It needs to be repaired. I wonder who has taken this house." " It's none other than Abhinav Agnihotri. Your kids' father. He is our new neighbour," Ruhi said and I looked at her with disbelief. " What? Are you joking? I asked her raising my brows. She said pulling Daksh into her lap," I am not joking, Di. I saw him setting furniture in the house. I asked him why he is going to live in a small house leaving behind his palace type house. He said that he wants to be with his kids and hi

Dear author, this is the best book I read so far , u know why? Coz I could connect with each and every character. it's not that any incident is astronomical and beyond our understanding. it's like this story is weaved from the experiences of ours surrounding. thanks for writing and sharing in this.

I completed this story on other platform earlier and must say it’s worth the coins. A woman was beaten, crushed and punished for no fault of hers. But she stood up, fought and when time came she forgave her culprit. Nice evolution of the character. I m not in favour of violence though.

Antiquarian's Precious Find

Antiquarian's Precious Find

“There’s a shower in the basement. It’s small, but two people can use it. If they’re friendly.” Hearing her breath hitch, Jim took her hand, leading Teri downstairs. At the bottom, she stared around her. The broad space spanned the entire distance of the single story above and carried the faint, dusty-musty odor of an unfinished basement. Though framed, with plumbing and electric in place, only the bathroom was complete, the backsides of its finished walls planting the seed inside her head it was inside-out. “Zoe was right—invisible walls.” Grabbing two towels from a shelf over the drier, Jim beaconed her to follow, closing the door behind her in the little room. “There was no impetus to fin

she started. “I know,” Sandy said. “Seven was full,” Isla said. “Yes,” Sandy said. “A lot happened.” “A lot happens every year,” Isla said. “More than usual this year,” Sandy said. “Catherine. And the new house settling. And Rosie—” She stopped. “What about Rosie,” Isla said. Sandy looked at the drawing she was working on. At the building in it. At the specific building. She’d been working on it for three months.

Voodoo Queens of New Orleans

Voodoo Queens of New Orleans

But something in me made me believe that these dolls knew I would be tempted to follow them if they ran the other way; they stopped at the end of the all and looked at me, like they were waiting for me to go after them. The house was quiet, as Sajida was in Houma and it was the middle of the night. I didn't deem it wise to wander the treehouse during this hour, especially by myself, but these dolls wanted me to see something; they kept looking back to make sure that I was following, We winded through the halls until we reached a door at the opposite end of the treehouse; this area was dark, save for a lantern burning dim. I stalled for a moment, looking down at the dolls who continued to jus

The Perfect Doll He Discarded

The Perfect Doll He Discarded

"Trust me, Isabella. You're not there to belong. You're there to conquer." I look at myself in the mirror. Maybe it's time to show New York I'm nobody's property. "Okay. What time?" "Seven. I'll pick you up." Two hours later, I stand before my closet. I choose a navy silk dress. Simple, elegant, with a back that plunges dangerously low. This dress is a weapon. Every step I take is a promise of war. The doorbell rings. My heart pounds. Julian stands there in a white polo and khakis.

Madam Winters’s Fight For Her Children

Madam Winters’s Fight For Her Children

Brown was busy with work when he answered, “They were still playing with toys in the afternoon just now. Why did all of them go missing at once? They should have gone upstairs.” Duke wanted to go upstairs, but Adina immediately stopped him. “Shh! I think they want to play peekaboo. Let’s go upstairs gently and scare them.” Duke immediately cooperated with her, and the two of them walked upstairs gently. Mr. Brown, who was busy in the living room, smiled in relief. Master and Mdm. Winters were now really close. It looked like he did not need to worry that they would divorce anymore. Adina gently pushed open the door of the dollhouse. The curtains were tightly closed, and the light in the room

Ahh! I want more! This one was a real delight. The overall flow of the story was very interesting. I so love Addy and Duke, the power couple. At times, I'll hold my breath for what to come next. It's so eventful, to say the least. Pity all good things must come to an end.

He Chose my Cousin, so I Chose Revenge

He Chose my Cousin, so I Chose Revenge

“Will you read them someday?” “Yes,” I said. “But not tonight. Tonight I only want to remember without drowning.” He nodded, as though he understood completely, and let me continue in silence. At the bottom of the box I found the smallest bundle. It was wrapped in tissue paper, secured with a string, and when I untied it, I uncovered a dress I had never finished. The bodice was half-sewn, the skirt cut but not attached, pins still holding pieces together. It looked fragile, like something caught between being born and being abandoned.

The Alpha's Betrayal: Pregnant And Accused

The Alpha's Betrayal: Pregnant And Accused

I started. "Don't," he said. "Let them tell us when they're ready." I pressed my lips together. "But..." "Alisha." "Fine," I said. His smile was slow and warm. I smiled back. That evening, I stood in the unfinished nursery. Half-painted, we'd get the second coat tomorrow. James's furniture is placed exactly right. The small handprint on the lower wall that nobody had painted over because it turned out to be exactly right where it was.
