Serena’s POV Dominic stirred. His fingers tightened around mine before anything else moved. Then he lifted his head slowly, blinking against the light as though it took a moment to remember where he was. His eyes were bloodshot, his face creased from sleeping at such an awkward angle, and for one brief second he looked completely disoriented. Then he saw that I was awake. His entire face transformed. The exhaustion seemed to drain from him in an instant, replaced by a raw, naked relief that made his lips tremble.

You know when your mind sees something that is so utterly beautiful, so unworldly that it distinctively focuses on the pinnacle of its interest, zeroing in on that magnificent sight, having everything else blur in the background? That's what Nate's eyes did to me. The golden, caramel orbs locked on mine and it was all I could see. His eyes are red rimmed as if the surgery was still taken its toll but his face is bare and so responsive. The butterflies, the ones that have become paralyzed a few weeks back, twitch and flutter when Nate's pupils dilate and his clear, breathtaking eyes roam around my face before dropping down my body.

" So do you see like, just black? or do you see purple like your eyes" "Nope, I see, nothing". " How does that feel like?". "Use one hand to close one eye, don't shut your eyes close, just use that one hand to cover it, and try looking at me, the one that's open sees me but the one eye covered sees nothing". She gasps "Woah, you're right, must be scary". "Nah... I'm used to it". Jesse's mum clears her throat " Jessica, don't ask such questions, that's rude, and Violet, you should know better than to speak while we are at the table eating, now let's just focus on our meal". shut up(rolling eyes emoji) I grabbed my towel from where it hung and easily got out of the baggy clothes I had been wearing, I wrap the towel around my body and enter into my bathroom, a warm bath later, I was sitting in front of my mirror trying to tame my hair when my phone rings I grab it and it's an unknown number. As expected. I didn't usually get calls; I just had four phone numbers on my phone; Mom, TB, Beck, and the front desk at the Public library in Hamilton. Nonetheless, I pick up the phone and the caller didn't speak for about ten minutes then the call ended. I looked out of all my windows to make sure I wasn't being watched when the same number started calling again. this time

With a questionable look, she scanned David, who laid on her bed, shirtless. She observed him. Her eyes stopped wandering around his abs when he caught her looking at them. "Like what you see", he smirked. "What are you doing here?? And please put on a shirt". "What if I don't?" *poker face* She watched him with a bewildered look. "What are you doing here in the first place??" To switch topics, she asked him the obvious question. He sat up on the edge of the bed and watched her like a lion preying on a lamb.

We have reached the water well or well in the middle of the big garden, it's a good thing that there are lamp posts along the way, so it's not too scary, and in all fairness they have their own lighthouse here so maybe when the gardeners plant they can easily see and observe well what will be planted at night, they are really concerned about their gardeners, I'm amazed, hehe it seems that what I said is wrong Dom stood on the other side of the well in front of me, then spoke again "What we're going to play is—", I just noticed that the light was focused on Dom's face, isn't he dazzled? The Mechanics of the Eternal-Dominic The door to the study opened, and Dominic Thorne walked in. He didn't look eighty; he looked like a man who had "Optimized" his "Biology" through "Pure-Presence." She gave him her attention and rolled her eyes. Her heart froze as he narrowed his eyes disapprovingly at her. “I’m expecting feedback.” Dominic repeated. He could barely stand her but then, he had been forewarned. “He will be with you shortly.” She replied haughtily and focused on her laptop. “Why are you staring at me again?” he asked, forcing her gaze back to his. “I wasn’t.” she denied hotly. “You have been staring at me like someone who has not seen an attractive man before.”

I lifted my head to look at him and my eyes widened when it landed on his face. His eyes... His green eyes... green like an emerald. I gasped when realization dawned upon me. "Finally, I was able to connect with you." He said while looking straight at me, his voice was echoing in this dark void. My lips parted with shock. My mind can’t seem to process what the heck is going on. I can’t move any part of my body. I feel like I’m frozen like a statue, even my eyes were locked on his. What am I exactly seeing right now?
