I have to touch my face. Then, years later, I had the chance to look into her eyes again. They weren’t light, but not too dark either—big, alert, always curious. And strangest of all, watery, because that wicked woman was sensitive about everything. Not that she cried easily, but her eyes revealed how she saw the world. They showed her fears and joys everywhere she went. What magnificent eyes! Like something out of an anime.

The best thing to do was utilize it. Returning my gaze to the mirror, a set of scarlet orbs stared back at me. Although strange, it was somehow relieving she let me retain my terrifying eye colour. It would traumatize me if I wind up with those random blue eyes. Squishing the chubby cheeks for mental approval, a grin broke out of my face. It felt so warm. So alive. I touched my chest and just as I suspected, I heard the gentle beats of the human heart. Unlike my cold, silent, heart.

Her eyes were closed but he knew they were remarkable. His keen vampiric sight had picked up the deep green colour, a thin layer of silver ringing her iris. They were the most unusual eyes he had seen before, they hinted of mystery and of a million untold stories. High, delicates bones graced her flawless cheeks and her luscious, full lips were parted slightly making him suddenly want to lean forward to find out what they tasted of. The unexpected impulse made him blink in surprise and then he mentally curse

The scream finally died in my throat, leaving the room ringing with sudden, heavy silence. He stared at me, mouth slightly open. Then his gaze locked on my eyes. “What’s wrong with your eyes?” he whispered, voice hoarse. I blinked hard, still breathing fast and shallow. The world looked different now. Sharper, colours seemed brighter, edges clearer than they had ever been. When I glanced at the small mirror hanging across the room, my reflection showed my eyes glowing with an unnatural silver light, the familiar gray completely replaced by something wild, luminous, and entirely new.

"Kill me and let's get this over with." He stays silent and keeps looking me deep in the eye with so much hate and anger. Never has he ever looked at me this way. It's so strange, but that's not the only strange thing about his eyes. They look different and that's when I notice his eyes aren't the way they used to be, they're black, like Sean's. No, not like Sean's. They're completely black, every part of his eye. What is this? What is going on? I look away from him to Sean and see it's the same thing, black. Every other person is far away, and I can't possibly see their eyes in the dark, but something is not right. Something's definitely off. What could it be? What's going on?

Meaning you will not see me for a while.” As he finished speaking, I noticed his eyes had gone bright red and you didn't hear the owls anymore. “I’ve always trusted you more than my parents so why would I ask them, since you have already said they have been lying to me.” When I looked away from Marcus, I noticed there were about 7 pairs of vibrant colored eyes surrounding us. Slowly another set appeared but were purple with gold specks.

The light burning within the creatures eyes must come from some secret and awesome place, Jeff thought. It danced and swirled around pinpoint, black pupils. It turned a deeper red, and then purple, before blazing with an intense orange. There seemed to be some pattern to the changes inside those eyes, and Jeff was determined to solve it. He was utterly transfixed by the spectacle and his body went limp.
