Chapter 110 /-Tediora-/ I fell flat on my butt as the bookshelf fell on Azrael. “Azrael!” I yelled, running up to him. Dust had gone up all in the hair from the impact of the bookshelf on the floor and I couldn't help but cough at it all. I slowly placed my hands on the bookshelf, trying to control my heart as I tried to get it off him. Come on… You can do this, Tediora. Focus.

Clara gasped and moved to save Beckah. She reached out and felt Beckah’s hand slip past hers. All she could do now was look over the edge in horror. Beckah fell quickly through the air and Clara closed her eyes. There was no way that Beckah was going to survive the fall onto hard ground. She heard a thud that was muffled by the sound of the rain and opened her eyes again. Beckah was lying on the ground below. She couldn’t see much in the dark night, but she could tell that the bully wasn’t moving at all.

I search for a way to reach the top and continue my work when I see a little seat where I could climb and have sufficient height to arrive at the top. I do so and find myself not still arriving, remark the bookshelf is long, but is better than before. I straight my hand to attain the next document but the door beside the bookshelf opens shaking the little seat I took and making me lose control of my feet on the chair and preparing to fall.

Kael moved toward her instantly. “Nova.” “Don’t touch me,” she hissed through clenched teeth. But her body betrayed her immediately when her legs gave out. Kael caught her before she hit the floor again. This time she struggled harder. Panic crashed through her chest as she shoved against him weakly. “Let me go!” His arms tightened around her carefully, not enough to hurt, just enough to stop her from falling apart completely. “You need to stay still.” “I said let go of me!”

I whispered, staring at him in shock, "I'm not worth all this." "Maybe not, but I refuse to let that bastard have you. Cocky, arrogant, son of a bitch!" I spotted the car he was dragging me to and realized the moment he had me, I was done. I wouldn't let that happen. I fell forward and made my body go limp. He let go of the chain in surprise, and I fell hard to the floor. He quickly grabbed the chain again, but I kept myself planted on the floor, desperate to keep myself from getting into the vehicle.

I bit my lip and looked for anything to climb on but found nothing. “I hope I won't fall.” I swallowed and tried if the shelves were sturdy enough to support my wait. I carefully climbed and struggled to reach the book that was located on the top shelf. I stretched my fingers and I finally got a hold of it. “Yes!” I grabbed it and I was about to climb down when the shelf shook a little and my eyes widened. “Oh, no, no.” I closed my eyes and waited for the shelf to fall along with me, but it never did. In fact, I think it stopped... moving?

For a second, nobody moved. Then Emily made a choking sound and her knees buckled. She grabbed the doorframe but her legs gave out anyway. She went down hard, her bag hitting the floor and spilling notebooks and pens everywhere. "Emily!" Ryan jerked away from Lucas like he'd been burned. He was scrambling to button his jeans, his face white as paper. Emily was crying now, big gasping sobs that shook her whole body. She tried to stand but couldn't seem to make her legs work as they were shaking. Tears and snot ran down her face. She looked destroyed.

Let alone being bitten by a rogue. “You have no idea how petrified I am,” trembled Amelia as she sighed and sat down at the kitchen counter. Still shocked at all that had happened to her. “Tell me how to do this. How do I simply give up my humanity and become whatever it is that’s happening to me?” Amelia was close to tears again, still fighting her internal struggles. Still not believing this all to be true.

As I fell, I landed on something hard, rolled over, and finally landed on the ground. The world went blank.
