RORY I’m rudely awakened by a ray of sunlight streaming in through the crack in the curtains, landing directly on my face. My eyes are bleary when I force them open, squinting at the sun like that would direct the ray of light elsewhere. Newsflash, it doesn’t. If anything, it only fries my eyes further and I close them and look away quickly before it gets the chance to completely ruin my vision.
