Hearing one of his co-workers say something like that certainly made Bobby immediately draw one eyebrow perfectly and then he looked at his friend with a facial expression that could never be read at all. “What exactly do you want to say? I picked up the device, expecting a message from Ace confirming if we were having dinner, but it was just spam. I locked the screen and focused. “Problem?” Bob’s voice startled me from behind; sometimes I forgot he was nearby. I turned to face him. “No. Just spam.” I replied, offering a smile. “Want a smoothie?” “I don’t like that stuff,” he retorted dryly. “Feel free to drink every last drop.” I rolled my eyes and took a sip. “Can we go?” I asked, after a few minutes of silence. “Yes, ma'am.”

He turned so red I thought he might actually combust into flames right there in the booth. "N-no! I mean, yes—I mean—not that I wouldn't be—uh—" I snorted, taking a giant, obnoxious slurp from my straw. "You’re adorable when you panic," I said. "Like a puppy realizing it peed on the carpet." Bob let out a strangled laugh, ducking his head. "I swear I'm cooler than this," he muttered into his root beer. "In my head, anyway."

In Carol's pickup truck, on the way to the airport, I asked one last time, "So you are sure you are good with Bob?" Carol laughed, "When he gets home tomorrow night, he is getting the fuck of a lifetime."

We walked and kicked stones for a block or two when Fred spoke again, "I guess since you completed your dare Bob, it's your turn to dare someone. Bob started to chuckle and gave his best sinister laugh, "Oh I got one alright, I gots a good one, and this one's for Andy." I could hardly wait to hear what kind of nonsense Bob was gonna come up with. While waiting for Bob to speak I picked up a stone and threw it down the road a ways.

Bobby exclaimed urgently with a frown on his face as the men in the hallway quickly moved aside for him. When Bobby finally saw Damian, he beamed widely at him and lowered his body while jogging up to Damian as quickly as possible. "I'm here, Mr. Luther! Little Bobby is here!"

Bob said in an act of false camaraderie. “Douglas has a message for me? He could have reached me through my phone.” Bob laughed as if I just said the funniest thing. The guy is the most pretentious snake if I’ve ever seen one. “Come on now, friend. I just wanted to apologize for yesterday.” “Right.” “Douglas did send a message though.” Every trace of smile vanished and his eyes turned cold. In a fraction of a second, he smiled again and patted my arm roughly. “You should have seen your face," he laughed. " Douglas says ‘Congratulations’”

“Don’t say at the Dandelion Bridge?” “Where do you think?” was Kevin’s reply. Bob, looked at me in disbelief, ‘Seriously?’ was the word I read from his expression. Yeah, seriously!

Bobby lives normally in the town, once went to the villa to give money to the couples to go home to their home because he was selling the villa before going back to his country when flights outbound will be resumed. "How was Jade now? I hope she was fine. If not for her kindness maybe I'm not gonna live longer or be stuck in this small town. I wished to see you again Jade, someday, as my friend." Bobby said to himself while watching the sunset on a beach near the motel he was staying in.

His small face turned even redder, and his eyes flickered with disappointment. “I mean to say that you want a di (older sister) to be your mom, right? That truly moved a di, and I thank you for entrusting me with such an enormous responsibility.” Lalisa looked at him carefully and said, “But, Bob, you already have a mom. She’s just not here right now.
