MATES: REMNANTS OF A BETRAYED BOND

MATES: REMNANTS OF A BETRAYED BOND

“Matthew is in a chopper dropping silver nitrate smoke grenades around Central City to keep the rogues from reaching the bunkers there.” An impenetrable fortress guarded the entrance to the bunkers, which were old silos. Each was twelve stories underground with layers of concrete and steel to shield it from impact. They contained bunk beds, medical supplies, food and water storage, a powerhouse, a control center, and antenna terminals in addition to equipment terminals. Venus and the gang came to our side. Valen's eyes met hers with reproach and his brows lowered into a hard line. He growled at Dad, sending the same lethal look at Benji, Isaac, and Zack. “How do you have my mate, my sister,

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!

Unholy Matrimony

Unholy Matrimony

"I want twenty men on the lawn. I want anti-drone jamming equipment installed on the roof within the hour. If a bird flies over this house, I want it shot out of the sky." "Dominik," I say softly, stepping toward him. He spins on me. "Pack a bag." I freeze. "What?" "The bunker," he says. "The deep bunker in the Catskills. It’s underground. It has independent air filtration. No windows. We’re leaving tonight." "No," I say. The room goes silent. The guards look away, terrified to witness this argument. Dominik stares at me. "Excuse me?" "I’m not going to a hole in the ground," I say, keeping my voice steady despite the trembling in my knees. "I am not going to live in a concrete box for the ne

Loving Lucifer's Daughter

Loving Lucifer's Daughter

"Let's see what you've cooked up." I leaned in, excitement bubbling up in my chest. "So, picture this: a state-of-the-art bunker, right? But not just any bunker. I'm talking about a customizable hellscape that can shift and morph to each damned soul's worst fears." Dad's eyes widened as he scrolled through my plans. "Impressive, Lulu. Very impressive indeed." "Thanks," I grinned, feeling a surge of pride. "I've incorporated some of the latest earthly tech, believe it or not. VR, haptic feedback, the works. It'll make our current setup look like a kiddie playground."

The Last Station Standing

The Last Station Standing

The Story Tellerdarkness feeling
The Appalachian peaks were jagged teeth against a bruised sky, and tucked beneath the granite roots of Mount Weather lay the Site-R Analog Backup—a "Dead-Hand" bunker designed for a war that never happened. It was a tomb of vacuum tubes, copper wiring, and Manual-Patch-Bays (systems that allow for physical rerouting of signals), primitive enough to have survived the Electromagnetic Reset that had turned the rest of the world into a graveyard of silicon. The air inside the entrance tunnel was thick with the smell of wet concrete and something sharper—the metallic tang of Oxidized Iron and the cloying, sweet stench of decay.

SOLD TO THE VOID ALPHA: THE REJECTED HEIRESS

SOLD TO THE VOID ALPHA: THE REJECTED HEIRESS

He wasn't a beast of nature anymore; he was a living, breathing engine of the slums, his heart adjusting to the charcoal-iron density of the bedrock we had opened. "The... the concrete sanctum..." Dante rumbled through our alpha-tether, his voice a heavy, concrete-shattering frequency that made the steel deck plates vibrate. "The backup drives... are buried beneath thirty feet of reinforced zinc-weave armor at the apex of the central sector. Zora... if the core lines don't reconnect... the pack’s marrow... will solidify inside their veins before the sun drops."

The Family Survival Fund and Apocalypse Revenge

The Family Survival Fund and Apocalypse Revenge

"This house is something your father and I worked our entire lives for! And Denise is supposed to inherit it when she gets married someday! No—absolutely not!" Denise panicked as well, tears pooling in her eyes. "That's right. If the house is gone, where are we supposed to live in the future?" I looked at them and spoke slowly, enunciating every word. "I know a major player in finance. She's willing to bring me into an investment—returns of at least double. But she has requirements. We need sufficient cash flow." "Double?" Stanley's Adam's apple bobbed. "Yes." I raised the stakes. "And she's also agreed to build us a doomsday shelter and invest an equivalent amount in gold bars."

NOT A DOORMAT ANYMORE

NOT A DOORMAT ANYMORE

I watched the numbers climb in silence, the lobby falling away beneath us, the city expanding through the glass panel on the elevator's rear wall. Floors of ordinary noise and ordinary light disappeared one by one. By the time we reached fourteen the world outside the windows looked different, more quiet. The doors opened. The executive floor was everything the lobby had promised and then some. It was long and wide and almost entirely black-and-white, all charcoal and gray and the particular shade of white that cost money to maintain. The carpet was thick enough to absorb footsteps entirely. There were no fluorescent lights up here. Just recessed fixtures that gave everything a clean, even g

Liam or my mom to get in touch with us. "We have to shut down Erebus," I said, my voice firm. "It's the only way to stop it." Ethan nodded, his eyes determined. "Let's do it." And that's when we huddled in the abandoned alleyway, our voices barely above a whisper. We knew Erebus was watching, waiting for its chance to strike. "We have to shut it down," Ethan said, his eyes locked onto mine. "But how?" I pulled out the small device I'd managed to hack together. "I think I can get us into the mainframe," I said, my hands shaking slightly. "But once we're in, we'll have to move fast."

Goodbye My Billionaire Ex-Husband Watch Me Win

Goodbye My Billionaire Ex-Husband Watch Me Win

Nathan POV The Connecticut bunker was a Cold War relic Marcus had updated five years ago reinforced concrete, independent air filtration, biohazard protocols that could withstand chemical or biological attacks. Lily and Ethan thought it was an adventure, exploring tunnels and sealed doors like a game. "Why are we hiding?" Lily asked, her seven year-old face scrunched with confusion. "Did something bad happen?" "Mommy's handling some complicated business," I explained, trying to keep my voice
