Surviving my mate

Surviving my mate

Hearing him call me that made Zariah stir and made me melt inside a little. I had done it. I had escaped my ass hole rejected mate and found my second chance mate. I still had a lot to do but I had Amelia, Kyle, Dominic and Emron to help me. I didn't know what would happen but I wasn't completely worried about it and neither was Zariah. I would rescue my pack though from Elstan, I owed them that much. I just hoped it wouldn't be too late. END BOOK ONE

75 Days

75 Days

I haven't been with anyone since before the apocalypse started about seven months ago, and I wish there was someone here that could be as interested in me as I am in them. Many of the other survivors have paired up to pass the time together in bed, but without protection to go around, I'm not interested in risking pregnancy at the end of the world. Already we have four pregnant women here, and they require more food and water than the rest of us, and they're slower and much more vulnerable. Not to mention the lack of doctors at the end of the world puts them in a dangerous position when it comes time to deliver. "We have to keep as much hope alive as possible. It's the only way we survive th

A Way To Survive

A Way To Survive

"He only hit people when he lost his temper and couldn't find a solution. He didn't want both my sister in danger and me. Because for him, I am his biological son. Therefore, I cannot let my sister suffer injustice." Finn is worried. "You want to go there? Do you know that's going to die?" Uri opens his backpack, takes the ancient golden book, takes off the book's last page, and gives it to Finn. "Please keep this map; it is a living hope for many people. I live or die doesn't matter. The important thing is that you save everyone so that they don't live in the mountain cave anymore." "You… you decided to go there?" Finn reached out his trembling hands and took the map from Uri's hand.

A Nearsighted Girl’s Journey Through a Horror Game

A Nearsighted Girl’s Journey Through a Horror Game

【Welcome to the “Happy Home” scenario.】 【Survive for seven days to clear the game.】 【Initial players: 30 | Current survivors: 30】 【We wish all players an enjoyable experience~】 After dying in a car crash, a flash of white light brought me to a tall building. A strange mechanical voice echoed in my ears. Because I’m extremely nearsighted, everything beyond three meters is a blur. I couldn’t make out the building’s details or the faces of the people around me, just vague human shapes.

The Art Of Dying

The Art Of Dying

“What the hell is this place?” Before he could answer, we were interrupted by a loud static from an overhead speaker. “Welcome to THE Survival Game!” a distorted voice announced. “Congratulations, you are all dead! But because hell is currently in recycle mode due to the greenhouse effect, you’re being sent to dead worlds as entertainment!” I blinked. “I’m sorry, what?” The voice kept going: “Please provide the fanciest death you can. Or fanciest kills if you have what it takes to be a predator. The audience loves those.”

Her Bloom Isn’t Red Anymore

Her Bloom Isn’t Red Anymore

Civilians ran, some trapped beneath overturned vehicles, others screaming into digital voids as their comms failed, signals lost to the apocalypse. Data towers erupted in arcs of blue flame, server racks frying, lights flickering as if the world itself had been unplugged. Vaethea’s HUD flickered as she tried to track the chaos, outlining survivors and collapsing debris in jagged outlines. Even now, there was nothing she could do to reach most of them. Far below, in a crater that had once been the center of the city, Aria sat alone. The wind carried ash and the faint taste of burned circuits to her lips.

The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

Hayley looked over the group standing in front of her. The feeling was familiar. Predatory, suspicious, and ready to turn violent at any moment. This was what most survivors in the apocalypse looked like. The people she had met before had either been rescued early, before the world had hardened them… Or they had lived somewhere with plenty of resources and never experienced the brutal struggle of survival.

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!

The Apocalypse Hoarder

The Apocalypse Hoarder

"If 5% make it through in the long run, that would already be impressive." Even under these conditions, humanity had not stopped fighting. People battled the cold with one hand and each other with the other. Production had ground to a halt. Farming no longer existed, and resource extraction had ceased. Food and energy had become strictly finite. Wars were breaking out everywhere. Some took place between individuals. Others erupted between small nations. Food and energy remained the two forces that drove people insane in the apocalypse. "Good thing I'm not short on either." Cyrus exhaled slowly, grateful for his preparations.

Searing Doomsday: I Crush My Holier-Than-Thou Sister

Searing Doomsday: I Crush My Holier-Than-Thou Sister

When I reached for the door handle, I glanced back at them. "Your car's destroyed. Want to come with me?" The moment those words left my mouth, their disappointment vanished. They hurried toward me, practically tripping over each other. Once in the car, they chewed on the protein bars I'd handed them, muttering to each other. "Told you. The boss has good instincts." I had enough food stockpiled to feed four adults until the end of the apocalypse. What worried me was human greed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Surviving a zombie apocalypse isn't just about brute force—it's about strategy, adaptability, and a bit of luck. First, securing a safe location is crucial. I’d look for somewhere with solid walls, like a school or a warehouse, preferably with access to rooftop spaces for visibility. Fortifying entry points with barricades and setting up early warning systems (think cans on strings or motion sensors) could buy precious time. Then, there’s the matter of supplies. Non-perishable food, water purification tablets, and medical kits are non-negotiables. But here’s the thing people forget: boredom kills morale. Packing a deck of cards or a few books might seem trivial, but mental health is survival, too.

Next, community matters. Lone wolves don’t last long in 'The Walking Dead' for a reason. Trusting the wrong people is risky, but isolation is riskier. I’d scout for survivors with complementary skills—maybe a nurse, a mechanic, or someone who can cook creatively from canned beans. And weapons? Guns are loud and ammo runs out. A good machete or a crossbow is quieter and reusable. Finally, always have an exit plan. Zombies aren’t the only threat; human factions can be worse. Staying mobile, knowing alternate routes, and never getting too comfortable could mean the difference between becoming a statistic or a legend.
