Every place took its own space and would fit together when needed. As she contemplated everything that she needed to. The doorbell rang, and she went to the door. Her brother was standing there with a box in his hands. “This is a short-range one, but it works better and won’t affect cell phones or Wi-Fi.” He pressed the button, and the lights dimmed for a second, and then he did it again when everything had reset. “Just to be sure.”

But I'm not my father, and Killian isn't the slightest like him either. Daria grins at me. "My right hook is pretty mighty too, even though I haven't used it in a while. I could beat Killian to a pulp—the guy is a kitten compared to me. I'm a total beast." More laughter erupts from my throat until I hear a knock on the door that I certainly didn't expect. I fill with dread and inhale—I have this inkling it's my brother who has arrived. I saw his photo on Mintagram. Killian was buying food from the airport.

"Nonsense! You've done more for me than you realize. It's the least I can do." Flora watched as Catarina arranged the fruit in a colorful display, the bright reds, yellows, and greens a stark contrast to the dullness of the hospital room. The sight of the fresh fruit, cut with care and arranged with love, filled her with a deep sense of gratitude. She reached out and took a piece of mango, savoring the sweet, juicy taste as it burst in her mouth.

"Woah! This one is the same as the ideal model I once saw in a mall!" The door slid open, and realisation dawned on me — it was obviously one of those sliding doors, and I was also very obviously an idiot.

Literally. I open my eyes to the surrounding darkness—three spotlights come on, illuminating one unique door each. On the left stands one made of stone, intricate designs carved in its rusted metallic frame. A light blue one stands with snow covering its edges and pilling at the bottom to the right. The one I face, the middle door, is made of dark brown wood with little glass windows all around, providing an insight into what's behind it—green vegetation dancing with the wind, possibly a forest. Claw marks are imprinted in its center.

I cover my face with a pillow to avoid staring at the walls which might end up adding salt to my soiled wound. A knock came through the door but I ignored it, thinking it was my hallucination or something,the knock came through again and sluggishly stand from the bed and walked to the door,on opening the door I saw Clara with a tray filled with different varieties of fruits,I held the door more wider for her to enter. With her head bowed low ,she placed the tray carefully on the table and turned to leave but my voice halted her steps. “What's up with the fruits?”. I asked as my eyes swept through the fruits on the table,this wasn't the right time to Bring me fruit and she knew that.

"Then… I’ll go wash some other fruit for you." He turned and headed for the door, his back looking strangely lonely. He paused at the door, not looking back. "How about apples? Or… do you hate apples too?"

They told me she is working from home for few days. I press the bell try to control my smile . Mom got surprised to see me. I wait for a minute but no one came. I again press it but no one came. I push at the door lightly and it open .A frown form on my face as I stand there confused. Mom never leave door open but anyway made my way inside. Thre is complete dark with eerie silence . All the curtain cover the windows making it more dark. I look around biting my bottom lip in confusion.

"Ah, I see. Your brother is lucky to have you looking out for him." With his purchase in hand, Adam made his way back to the fruit section to collect the assortment of fruits he had requested earlier. Upon arriving at the fruit section again after his trip to the meat section, Adam was pleasantly surprised by the vibrant display of fresh fruits. The colorful array of strawberries, oranges, kiwis, and pineapples caught his eye, and the sweet aroma in the air enticed his senses. He approached the fruit vendor, a cheerful, elderly man with a wide grin, who welcomed him warmly.
