Doppelgänger Horror Novels & Stories

The next second, the Patchwork Monster tore the man in half. He tossed the body outside casually. Just then, a crisp, bell-like voice sounded outside. “It’s after work hours, who’s so rude as to be throwing bodies around?” A young girl with three heads and eight arms appeared at the doorway. With just one look at the shop, anger filled her voice, and her hair stood on end. “Who the hell had a death wish and smashed the Number One Must-Eat shop in the entire horror game?”

I asked feeling the familiar fear creeping up. "I think it is the fertilizer they are using in the gardens," he said looking around. "I am not taking any chances," he said. I watched his eyes glaze over and knew he was mind-linking the twins and the warriors. It felt like an eternity had passed even though it was only a couple minutes before the familiar sight of my twins' wolves charged down the corridor towards me. They shifted as they reached me. "Are you alright?" they both asked. I saw the warriors appear as if they had stepped out of the walls.

“A doppelganger is someone who looks just like you, but they're not related to you at all. They're like a copy of you, but from different parents.” Paul didn’t want to look stupid in front of his father. He wanted to show off and then added an explanation, “Sometimes people say that if you see your doppelganger, it can bring bad luck, but it's all just make-believe. So, if you ever meet someone who looks exactly like you but you know they're not your twin, you can tell them, ‘Hey, you're my doppelganger!’ It's like finding a really cool and mysterious twin.”

To leave something for her dying first love, my wife, Elara Wynn, decides to carry two babies at once, implanting his previously frozen embryo while she's already pregnant with our child. On the day of the procedure, she even stations 50 bodyguards outside, convinced I'll show up and try to stop her. But I never come. Once the embryo is successfully implanted, she finally relaxes. She doesn't understand why I'm making such a big deal out of it. All she wants is to leave something that belongs to her first love. She doesn't see anything wrong with that. Afterward, she comes to find me and says, as if she's doing me a favor, "Callum, aren't you happy I'm carrying twins now? Try to be the bi

"We were chosen because we looked enough like the bloodline. We were not related, Debbie. Not at all.” “So…” I swallowed. “Your looks… you… how do you… how do you explain your striking mirrored resemblance?” “We are doppelgangers, Debbie.” Doppelgangers. The word hit me. Right in the depth of my brain. I had forgotten that there was a word like that in this world. “We were picked from different corners of the world. Scraps of people that nobody would miss."

He looked directly at me. My face stared back. My eyes. My nose. My mouth. But twisted into the kind of anger I barely recognized, or ever felt. "You see now?" the other me asked, never loosening his grip on Susan's throat. "You see what she made you believe about yourself?" Susan followed his gaze, her terrified eyes landing on me. "Don't listen to him, Damon. You fucking bastard! You raped ME!!." The bizarre situation was making my legs weak. "She's very good," my doppelganger said conversationally. "And you are too stupid." His fingers tightened around Susan's throat. "

"Tell him whatever you think it is best 'cause I won't be showing up. If 'she is asleep' that comes to your mind, say it. Or 'she don't wanna come' it is fine by me, 'she doesn't want to see you' whichever way. I am not just coming." "Okay then." "Thank you as you do so," I plugged my earpiece, then laid back on bed. "Goodnight." **** (No! Whimpering! Darkness! Fire! Tears!) Noo! Not again! I pressed my back against the wall, folded up a leg, then I dug my finger into my hair. This is beyond me mum, dad! I can't handle this all alone. What is the secret behind this nightmare? *** The shadow was moving closer. It was following me all over again. This couldn't be Brad. That was not Brad. So wh

In the movies I have watched, parties always look fun. Suddenly I can feel that we are being watched or rather I am being watched. And there they are, the Rosemont sisters standing before us. They each have their trays with them and unlike Ella, Phoebe and I they aren't wearing boots but rather matching red bottom heels. Everything about them is matching really. Well except for the color of their hair but the length of it is the same which is very long by the way. It's almost creepy how everyone about them is the same but I guess that's why everyone calls them the Rosemont weirdos.

But its hands remained slightly out of place, trembling with the effort of the failed escape. I realized then, with a cold, hollow dread, that the reflection is bound by the gaze. It is a quantum horror: it only exists as a copy as long as it is being observed. The second the observer’s eye wanders, the mimicry ceases, and the entity behind the glass seeks the warmth of the three-dimensional world. So, I stayed.

she said with relief. Elizabeth looked up quickly, but she was shocked to see her own doppelgänger. As the doppelgänger laughed freakishly, Elizabeth saw her own, dark reflection in her eyes, and she did not like what she saw. All the nasty parts of her memory that she had consciously buried deep in her mind, rose to the surface. In that state of mind, she felt that she was nothing better than the monster by her side. She was a monster too, responsible for many killings. She had shed a lot of blood. Her mind sank into confusion. The doppelgänger’s thought took over her mind and she began to lose power over her thoughts. Following this, Zai’s voice jumped into her mind once again.
