His darkness
I tried each pair on a foot and looked at my reflection, but I couldn’t decide which to wear.
“The boots, definitely.” I heard him speak behind me as he leaned over the frame door.
“Because it looks nicer or because it pretty much hides half of my skin?”
A small half-smile reached his plumb lips, I almost didn’t catch it.
He left with no further words. I rolled my eyes, but a smile insisted to be drawn on my lips.
I wore the other pair and walked out. Xander was already dressed in his white jeans. The hoodie was halfway closed, leaving half of his tattooed chest naked. He looked tense with his hands in his hoodie’s pocket, eyeing my dress for what seemed to be a hundred times.
