Hopefully, all of this will confuse Frank even more.

She starts looking through more boxes. "Laura shouldn't we get out of here. You should rest. We can come back and go through this tomorrow," I say to her. She digs through a few more boxes. She pulls out a folder. "One thing about us Fairies, we keep great records," she says. She adds the folder to her collection of papers. "Are you ready now?" I ask her. As we go out the door of the hidden record room, I notice something strange on the wall. "Ando can you reach that picture?" I ask him.

Alice brought Gardenia to her mother and the child immediately rushed to her mother. The night they came back, Gardenia was still doing her best to stay awake and wait for Alice and Karina. The child also bawled at seeing Alice alive. She went to her and Karina, embracing them with tears. It was the first time that Alice truly felt relieved that she had come back alive. She wasn’t expecting it to come from a child who’s basically a stranger.

We transform immediately after our exit and we run in direction of the nearest territory, the Blue one, without turning over. When we reach the border I stop. If I go any further, Alpha John will know and he won't hesitate to kill me. Alice, or rather her wolf, looks at me hesitantly. She took the bear out of the box and squeezed its tummy. Then, the bear suddenly made a loud laughing sound. Startled, Alice let go of the bear out of instinct, and the bear fell to the ground.

Yet, Alicia remained calm, and as soon as the mist completely cleared out, we saw a piece of land – no, a floating pack village – in front. "Welcome to Asteria," Alicia uttered. Once again, she tuned in her whistle, and after a few seconds, a couple of she-wolves with the same skin tone as Alicia’s emerged from the bushes around. An elder woman, whom I think was the leader of the wild-looking women, stepped forward. “Welcome back, Alicia,” she greeted as we stepped down from the boat. Alicia gave her a warm hug before looking at us. The woman turned her eyes on me, and as soon as our eyes met, hers glistened with tears.
