I could not reach it; my both arms were constrained to her. Suddenly, tires screeched against the pavement. Lance’s car, a blue XUV, hurried out the parking lot with tremendous speed. It passed us and drove away. Kane came out next from the gate running. He was only a few meters away from us and he saw us along the road. He had the dagger in his hand. He stopped momentarily from running and stared at me.

The command voice didn’t seem to have any effect, but the calm tone seemed to be working. The wheels were clearly turning behind Clyde’s eyes as he darted along Lance’s bare body again, this time with new appraisal. Instead of focusing on Lance’s nakedness, this time he zeroed in on the mesh of scars across the strong, lean man’s side. Right! The scars! Lance slowly turned so that Tae could get a better view. He was covered in an array of small scars from living life out in the mountain packs, growing up as a Wolf.

Grabbing the arm chair, Lance sat down and decided to check the appointments out one by one. Daniel and I just stood behind him. As he touched the mouse, a red laser light showed for a second and disappeared almost immediately. "Did you guys see that?..." Lance asked. Before we could reply, Upgrade did!. "Welcome Lance Sterling..." My breath caught and my heart froze, we all waited, expecting the computer to go on defensive mode and lockdown. Even Lance and Daniel were in shock. "I don't get it, it's supposed to block us out right now!." Daniel explained.

Then why does he keep staring like he wants to rip me apart. “You two are were right?” Tobi asked curiously. My eyes locked with Evanna’s. “Yes, we are. I assume you are the same?” She responded smoothly. “Just me. Lance is hybrid,” Tobi shrugged and my eyes darted to him once again. He did look it for sure. “I know what you're probably thinking ‘oh he's dangerous’ and all that but Lance is actually one of the sweetest people i have ever met and I'm reallg lucky to have him as a friend.”

CELINE POV - Hendrix is just staring at Lance. I wanted to scold Lance for surprising Hendrix like that. But I held back, even I can’t stop the rage that hits me just hearing that person’s name. “Cooperate with me,” Lance stated further, issuing a warning. “I will annihilate your whole family. I will destroy the Phoenix organization, Lucian included. You and your unborn child alone I will remain of your lineage.” I noticed the rise and fall of Hendrix’s Adam’s apple.
