When they reached the little red dot on the mountain, they saw a cedar tree that was covered in snow and icicles. Lance was under the tree, completely frozen. He was leaning against a tree, neatly dressed. His face looked peaceful and quiet. His eyes were closed, and he looked like he was still breathing. His face was covered with a layer of frost. His eyelashes were icy, and he sat there with one leg bent in a relaxed and nonchalant posture. He looked cold, sharp, firm, and motionless. They knew that Lance was already dead. This picture seemed frozen in their minds.

Tobias gave him a scornful look. "Aren't you guys supposed to only care about money and not a person's identity? Why are you so scared now? You're idiots for not verifying the truth before accepting orders from clients!" He and Draco had been trailing Lucille this whole time. When they'd been stopped earlier, they'd realized Dexter and his men were from Nocturne. Tobias had then looked into the matter and found out Dexter and his men reported to Lance. Everyone knew that Lance's men only cared about compensation when accepting orders. They didn't care who their targets were. Still, there would always be situations where their targets were people they couldn't afford to offend.

In another compartment was a collection of crossbows and oddly enough, rattan sticks. Noah ignored all of these and opened a small shelf to reveal a gun collection that would make any gun enthusiast proud. Asher blew air out of his mouth, puffing his cheeks as he let the air out with a low whistle. “How peaceful was Ezra Dark Storm?” he wondered out loud. “He was the best Alpha I ever knew,” Lance commented with a thoughtful look in his eyes. “Yet you killed him,” Noah said from the ground. He didn’t look up at Lance but the weight of his hatred was palpable in the air.

Ajax chuckled and pushed him away so that he crashed heavily to the ground, "It's been one month, Lance. I thought you would have forgotten about them and moved on but the love is strong ever still. You defiled my order to stay put.."

Lance smiled back at her, touching her cheek lightly before turning to address the crowd. “Thank you all for coming, please have a seat.” Lance said, pausing as he waited for everyone to follow instructions. “Today we merge three packs into one and form one of the most powerful packs of all time. Today we merge Dark Water, City Lights, and Red Wood.” Lance said, pausing once more for dramatics.
