My Husband Remarried When I Was Away

My Husband Remarried When I Was Away

I went abroad for three years to build a lab and save my husband's company from collapse. After endless struggles, I finally cracked the technical problems and developed the core technology. When I returned home with that breakthrough, I saw the airport video board plastered with the same impossible headline—my husband was getting married. I felt a hot, furious ache and took a taxi straight to the venue. … A woman who had cared for our household for years blocked me at the gate and sneered. "Who do you think you are, showing up at the Stone family's wedding? Get out of here, or I'll get security to throw you out." For a moment, I stood rooted, but then the bride appeared, walking out of the villa in a wedding gown. It was the woman Adrian Stone had once told me was dead—his first love, Evelyn Sutton. She wore my wedding ring on her finger and looked at me with pure contempt. "You want to make a scene at my wedding?" she said. "If you do, you're really asking for trouble. My husband, Adrian, won't hesitate to take care of you." I folded my arms and let out a cold laugh. "Adrian's getting married? Funny, I don't recall getting an invitation."

Alpha's Regret: Can You Love Me Again?

“I don’t want to marry Edge anymore.” This is what I said when I decided to free myself from a man that I had never even seen before in my life. The clock of my lifeline was nearing an end and I was not ready to waste it on an arrogant man like the Alpha King- Edgar Darkmoon. But the moment I said this, the universe changed its course. The more we tried to stay apart, the more our lives collided and burned. “Throw her out of here!” “She isn’t allowed to take one step inside my territory!” “Banish her!” The alpha’s roar shook the places I set foot in when he didn't know my identity. But the moment he became aware of who I was, his cold stares changed into absolute adoration so fast that I had to put up a wall between him and myself because I didn’t want to fall for him! Unbothered by it all, a bigger crisis is dawning upon us soon. Edge is the King of Alphas, but an ages-old, greedy and the most dangerous entity is hovering above our lives. So far, this book is off the charts, great grammar, and punctuation with very few mistakes. Great dialog and plot. I am also reading the "Alpha's Moon Princess," which is also great so far. I believe that this author has GREAT potential and will go far!!! ............ great job, Ms. Karson!!

I love this story. I have re-read it many times. Not only is it interesting, but you find out more about each character. There's a bit of a mystery involving one of the main characters she is adopted, and she doesn't know who her true parents are; but most of all, she finds true love.

Falling For My Stepbrother 1

Falling For My Stepbrother 1

Clarity was better. “I'll be gone in the morning.” I said quietly. It was sometime between two and three am. We both sat, lost in our own thoughts, my body shamelessly yearning for his comfort, when I'd just broken his heart. I kept sobbing quietly cause there was no stopping the tears that stemmed from a place of pain and guilt. Three times, three solid times, I stopped myself from lurching at his feet. I wanted to be held by him, but even though the distance between us, physically, was so small, we were more than miles apart emotionally. What terrified me more than the look on his face was what was going through his mind. Emma has caught the attention of the playboy in school, who happened to be the sexiest bully, and her Stepbrother.... They battle webs of secrets and lies, from friends and family, and finally, their own ego and desires. Chase wants to be Emma's last 'Goodnight' and her first 'Good morning', so does Kevin. Can he battle the insane attraction she has for Kevin, whom she had unfinished business with? Will Chase throw in the towel and let the rich tech guy swoon his girl? Will Emma ever forgive Chase's betrayal and indifference? Are their issues even solvable? Find out in the fast paced Falling For My Stepbrother 1

Reborn: Love and Let Go

Reborn: Love and Let Go

It was midnight, and I was out at my stall when the cops took me to the station. They checked my profile and looked at me weirdly. "You're a Greatpeak graduate. What are you doing setting up shop in a bazaar?" That was odd. I went through the profile and realized that yes, while the student's ID was mine, the photo was not. I knew the guy in the photo. Josiah Ferguson. I had no idea I got accepted into Greatpeak University twenty years ago. Eventually, I was released, but I had no idea how I trudged back home. Then, I heard Hazel Quinley, my wife, talking to someone on the phone. "I won't let Michael get in your way, Josiah. Just go abroad." So that's it! It was her! My wife helped Josiah take what was supposed to be mine! I was sick. I wanted to throw up. I wanted to confront her and Josiah, but then she stabbed me in the back, and I died. "I'm sorry, Michael. I can't let you ruin Josiah's future." And then I woke up. I was taken back in time to my high school days. Our homeroom was giving out college application forms. This time, things would be different. This time, I would take back what was rightfully mine!

Running From The Wind

Running From The Wind

Josephine Ivy
“Why do you love talking so much?” I demanded with a scowl. “Because I want you to clearly remember that you’re about to get nasty with a man.” He answered as he grazed his lips lightly against my jaw, a feathery motion which made me shiver slightly in response. I opened my mouth to say something in reply but he jerked my mouth against his fast, stopping whatever I was about to say with a kiss. ****** After unknowingly getting dragged into a dangerous mess and being on the run with a man who has a death penalty threat hanging over his head, two things out of five were very clear to Mark. One, his straight ass wasn’t as straight as he used to think. Two, he was ridiculously falling for the ‘number-one’ most wanted person in more than five countries. Recklessly, unhinged. The fact that he had a girlfriend back at home was the last thing on his mind. It was a very reckless and emotion filled adventure for both men, where one had to prove his innocence to the world or forever be on the run until whenever he got caught. While the other one has to throw caution to the wind for the first time, grow past his fears and beliefs and go for what his heart wants, despite how wrong it feels.

A Deal with the Devil

A Deal with the Devil

He smirked, knowing he was on the winning side. "So it's a done deal for three months?" He raised his eyebrows, putting his hand forth for a handshake. I looked at the long fingers and perfectly aligned nails and then at his patient face. Sighing to myself I my own hand into his and ignored the tingles that flowed through every nerve as his fingers curled around my hand and shook it lightly. "Yeah three months." "Goodnight then." He winked, removing his hand from mine and turned to walk away. "Hey wait!" I called out, suddenly remembering something. "You don't have my number." "What makes you think that? I have my ways Smith." And with one last wink I saw him take a turn and disappear from my sight. I let out a long breath, leaning on the nearby wall. Looks like I just made a deal with the Devil. * A sarcastic girl, a cocky guy. Throw in some mystery, murder, filthy jokes, wonderful friends, tons of kisses, secrets, surprises, eye-rolls and a killer on run. And you have got yourself a story never read before. ***So grab a cup of hot chocolate, some chips and a warm blanket and get ready to laugh, cry and bite your lip in anticipation. Enjoy!!

Totally enjoyed this book! Love the bickering of the main leads and the friendships amongst the group. Minor errors but does not affect the general feel of the book. Glad I decided to read this. Keep up the good work! ...

The Lies We Call Love

The Lies We Call Love

“Fine,” I heard myself say, the word tasting like rust. “You want an open marriage? We’ll do open.” A slow smile curved his mouth—victory, not warmth. “Good girl. Then I suppose you won’t mind if I reintroduce Kisha.” The camera panned. There she was, curled on what I now realized was our hotel suite couch, her legs tucked under a cashmere throw that used to be mine. She waved, manicured nails glinting, belly softly rounded under a silk camisole. My world tilted. I forced a smile that felt like glass. “So she’s your girlfriend?” Daniel’s hand settled possessively on that gentle swell. “Not just my girlfriend,” he said, eyes locked on mine. “The mother of my unborn child.” Jayla Carmichael smiles for the cameras as the perfect senator's wife while her world burns. But queens don't kneel. They conquer. Fueled by whiskey and wrath, Jayla ensnares Warren Christopher, a brooding billionaire CEO, after saving his empire in a bar-side twist of fate. Love was the first lie. Revenge is the foreplay, and the truth? it's coming for them all...naked, ruthless and dripping in karma. Will Jayla's vengeance destroy her soul or will warrens fire forge something eternal?. This book isn't just romance, it's war with benefits.
